Expanding student body section

edit

Hi editors! I'm an employee at National University, and as a part of my work I have some suggestions for updating the Wikipedia article. I won't be making any direct updates because of my conflict of interest, and I've posted a diff to my user space of the changes I plan to request in case anyone is curious.

To start, I'm hoping editors will be willing to update the Student body section. The current information is several years old, so my goal is to update and expand the section.

Thanks and let me know your thoughts! DA at National University (talk) 16:05, 22 April 2026 (UTC)

Partly done I implemented this outside of the sentence that reads "The University primarily focuses on non-traditional students who are raising families, working, and veterans." It's unclear what this sentence means when it says "focuses" (recruitment? retention? additional support?) and I think that emphasizing facts about the student body (% of students are veterans or active military, % of students are working full-time jobs at the same time as being students, % of students have children) may have a neutral, accurate focus on this. You did this in the final sentence of the second paragraph. Additionally, one of the proposed sources for that is from 1979—47 years old—which would not align with your goal of updating the section. I did keep the current sentence in the section regarding average student age since I think it aligns with what you are trying to say with "nontraditional students", but added a date qualifier. Thank you for making those changes, I appreciate it! DA at National University (talk) 14:12, 1 June 2026 (UTC)

Updating history Section

edit

Hello, I have another request, this time to update the History section. Here are the main changes in this updated section:

  • Adds details to some of the early history
  • Replaces some primary sources
 * Clarifies the acquisitions of MiraCosta and John F. Kennedy University
  • Adds learning program investment
  • Adds details regarding the sanction from the American Association of University Professors
 * Adds leadership changes over the years
  • Removes content about the student body

Interested to hear thoughts, and appreciate any feedback!

Thanks! ~~~~ DA at National University (talk) 15:41, 1 June 2026 (UTC)

Please indicate what sources verify what content on requested change. To ensure that the article does read like an advertisement and thus maintain some neutrality I would strike from above

A lot of changes that are requested above in the hidden "history" area are copy edit type edits, and are fine. I am fine with implementing those. That said the things I listed in my prior post make the article read to positively. Moreover the sources that are provided in the most recent post are mostly primary or non-reliable sources (save the Times of San Diego) source. RightCowLeftCoast (Moo) 19:16, 15 June 2026 (UTC)
Thank you for the quick response. Please edit as you see fit, we do not have appropriate third-party citations for the other links. I am sorry, I misunderstood the ask. DA at National University (talk) 20:03, 15 June 2026 (UTC)
User:RightCowLeftCoast Apologies, I’ve just found we do have sources available. Here is the passage without the parts you identified as promotional:

Proposed addition on SE(2) navigation meshes

edit

I am a co-author of the cited work, so I am requesting review by an uninvolved editor.

Please add the following paragraph at the end of the “Description” section, immediately before “Creation”:

For agents with non-circular footprints, traversability may depend on orientation as well as position. An SE(2) navigation mesh represents traversable regions in heading-dependent layers, allowing path planning over both planar position and orientation.[1]

Edit request

edit

I have a conflict of interest with this article but am requesting the following changes:

Prof Habib is now a full Professor, as declared on her pages at the University of Cambridge and at Newnham College .

  1. Change "Dr" to "Professor" in the pre-nominal at the top of the infobox.
  2. Under "Career", change "has a professor-equivalent role" to "is a professor" These have been done by an anonymous editor.
  3. Change the title of ref2 to "Nazia Habib" and the link for ref2 to the new location, https://newn.cam.ac.uk/person/nazia-habib
  4. In the "Career" section, before the Centre for Resilience and Sustainable Development subheading, add this fact: She is co-editor of the Society of Chemical Industry journal SCI Sustainability. Cite the journal's page on the Wiley publisher site and "Professor Nazia M Habib named Editor-in-Chief of SCI Sustainability", news item on the University of Cambridge site.
  5. In the same section, add: In 2026, she was awarded the Distinguished Guest Lecturer medal by the Royal Society of Chemistry Environmental Chemistry Group, for a lecture examining the persistent use fossil fuels. Ref: "Royal Society of Chemistry Awards Medal to Distinguished Guest Lecturer Professor Nazia Habib, FRSA", news story on the University of Cambridge site.
  6. In the section on "Early life and education", add that she studied at Jesus College, Oxford. Cite This alumni magazine that mentions her.
  7. The John F. Kennedy School of Government (Harvard Kennedy School) is mentioned in the infobox but not in the body text. Fix this by adding the following to the start of the "Career" section. She was a sustainability science fellow at the Harvard Kennedy School for two years from 2011. Cite this profile on the University of Cambridge site and this CV on the Harvard Kennedy School site.

Thanks in advance for any help! MartinPoulter (talk) 16:21, 24 June 2026 (UTC)

COI edit request: neutral wording and fuller summary of 2009 AP source

edit

Disclosure: I am a regionally elected chief in the Nemenhah and publisher of the Nemenhah Record, so I have a conflict of interest and am requesting review rather than editing the article directly.

I am requesting a narrow, source-based change to improve neutrality and accuracy.

The current article describes Phillip “Cloudpiler” Landis in Wikipedia’s voice as a “convicted fraudster.” This wording seems unnecessarily loaded for the lead sentence. The cited Associated Press/NBC source does mention prior fraud charges and prison time, but it also identifies Landis in the context of his role with the Nemenhah and includes his statements about the Daniel Hauser matter.

I propose replacing the current lead wording with more neutral wording such as:

“The Nemenhah Band is a religious group associated with Phillip ‘Cloudpiler’ Landis, who told the Associated Press in 2009 that he had been elected the group’s principal medicine chief.”

I also propose revising the controversy paragraph so it reflects the cited source more fully. Suggested wording:

“In 2009, news coverage connected the Nemenhah Band with the Daniel Hauser chemotherapy case after Hauser’s mother was reported to have joined the group a few months earlier. Landis told the Associated Press that he had never met Hauser or her son, urged them to return home, and said he could not support her committing a felony.”

This request is not asking editors to accept private knowledge. It is based on the article’s existing cited source and is intended to bring the article closer to neutral wording and a fuller summary of the source.

~~~~ Raforsyth (talk) 19:16, 5 June 2026 (UTC)
Please disclose your COI on your user page as well(User:Raforsyth).
I have removed the reference to "convicted fraudster" because that was not described in the provided source.
I'm leaving this request open to see if someone else can have more luck in accessing the other sources for the paragraph you're asking be changed. I'm actually wondering if your group merits an article at all according to our criteria, but I'm leaving that aside for now. 331dot (talk) 19:29, 5 June 2026 (UTC)
Thank you. I have disclosed my conflict of interest on my user page as requested. I appreciate the removal of the unsupported wording. Raforsyth (talk) 19:32, 5 June 2026 (UTC)
Neubauer Collegium entry needs corrections and updates
edit
Hello, I am the communications director at the Neubauer Collegium for Culture and Society, and I would like to request a content audit to correct errors and update the research center's Wikipedia entry.
Specifically:
HISTORY
The second paragraph in this section is incomplete and outdated. Please consider a revision to update the total number and breadth of projects and specify the type of research projects the research center supports. Key facts include:
--Since its 2012 launch, the Collegium has supported more than 150 collaborative research projects with faculty representing all divisions and schools at the University of Chicago. The projects range broadly in scope and methodology, though all adopt a multi-disciplinary, humanistic perspective to address complex questions.
Citation: https://news.uchicago.edu/story/neubauer-collegium-announces-10-new-projects-2026-27
--Many Collegium-funded research projects include collaborations with scholars, practitioners, and artists from other institutions.
--The Neubauer Collegium hosts Visiting Fellows from around the globe who are formally appointed by the University of Chicago Provost's Office for periods ranging from one month to multiple academic terms. During their residencies Visiting Fellows collaborate on Collegium research projects and advance other research and teaching activities on campus.
--As of June 2026, the Collegium has hosted 96 Visiting Fellows from 22 countries. Notable Visiting Fellows have included:
Amit Chaudhuri, writer and musician (2025–26)
Rick Lowe, artist (2023-24)
Yuval Sharon, opera director (2023-26)
Jo Guldi, historian (2019-20)
Nina Sanders, Indigenous curator and cultural consultant (2019-23)
David Auburn, playwright (2017-19)
Quentin Skinner, historian (2017-18)
Consider adding a section titled "GALLERY." Key facts include:
--The Neubauer Collegium houses an exhibitions gallery that integrates artistic expression into academic inquiries. Many exhibitions are directly linked to research collaborations supported by the Collegium, and all are presented as forms of inquiry. The gallery is free and open to the public.
--The inaugural curator of the gallery was Jacob Proctor (2015-2017). The gallery has been curated by Dieter Roelstraete since 2017. Roelstraete is an internationally recognized curator of contemporary art who previously served on the curatorial team that organized documenta 14 and served as the Manilow Senior Curator at the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago from 2012 to 2015.
--The gallery hosts 3 exhibitions per academic year and has organized 33 exhibitions as of Spring 2026. Contemporary artists who have shown work at the Neubauer Collegium include internationally renowned figures such as: Martha Rosler, Cecilia Vicuña, Anna Tsouhlarakis, Betye Saar, the Otolith Group, Zoya Cherkassky, Rick Lowe, Pope.L, Fredrik Vaerslev, and more.
Apsáalooke Women and Warriors, March 13, 2020–July 18, 2021, jointly organized by the Field Museum of Chicago and the Neubauer Collegium in partnership with the Crow community, curated by Neubauer Collegium Visiting Fellow Nina Sanders.
--The multi-site exhibition presented multiple narratives of the Apsáalooke past, showcased new works by contemporary Apsáalooke artists and designers, and offered a vision for the future of cultural stewardship.
--On March 12, 2020, Neubauer Collegium Faculty Director Jonathan Lear and Apsáalooke Sacred Tobacco Society Pipe Carrier Grant Bulltail welcomed the University of Chicago community and local residents to a parade celebrating the opening of the exhibition. The parade across campus was led by a group of Apsáalooke dancers, drummers, elders, and participants on horseback, and was followed by a Crow giveaway ceremony. The event was the culmination of a multi-year collaboration among research partners convened by the Collegium – and is remembered as the last public gathering at the University of Chicago before the Covid lockdown. CAMPUS
This section should be retitled "BUILDING" or integrated into HISTORY without a separate subtitle. Titling this section "campus" is misleading because it suggests that the Collegium has its own campus, which it does not. It is housed in a building at the University of Chicago.
An important fact to add: the Collegium was housed at the University of Chicago's Regenstein Library during its initial pilot phase (2012-2015) and launched at full capacity in April 2015 when it moved into its permanent home at 5701 S. Woodlawn Ave. Citation:
Link: https://news.uchicago.edu/story/neubauer-collegium-celebrates-opening-new-home-5701-s-woodlawn
LEADERSHIP
This section is very outdated. The first paragraph is accurate and current, but the list of the original faculty advisory board members is from 2014. The full list of faculty members who have served on this board to date includes about 100 names and changes every year. Consider removing the list and describing the makeup of the board and governance responsibilities more generally.
PUBLICATIONS
Consider adding a section to note that the Neubauer Collegium is a publishing imprint, with titles distributed by the University of Chicago Press. Books published on this imprint explore Collegium research-informed exhibitions. These include:
Apsáalooke Women and Warriors, 2020
Kleine Welt, 2020
Rick Lowe, 2023 (jointly published with Gagosian)
Request to specify formulation in the lead
edit
Disclosure: I am an employee of Moleac, the company that markets NeuroAiD (MLC601/MLC901). I therefore have a conflict of interest and am not editing the article directly. I am proposing this source-backed change on the Talk page for review by independent editors, and I am not requesting removal of well-sourced negative material.
* Text to be changed (in the lead): "The drug shows no significant benefit in improving outcomes at 3 months in patients with acute ischemic stroke."
* Proposed replacement: "MLC601 shows no significant benefit in improving outcomes at 3 months in patients with acute ischemic stroke."
* Reason: The meta analysis behind this statement tested the MLC601 formulation specifically . The article already explains that there were two formulations and that MLC601 was discontinued in 2018 and replaced by MLC901, so attributing the finding to "the drug" generically is imprecise. Naming the formulation makes the sentence accurate and consistent with the rest of the article. I am not requesting removal of the meta analysis result or any change to its conclusion. PaxAleatoire (talk) 10:02, 2 July 2026 (UTC)
Please update introduction numbers
edit
As an employee of NYPA (New York Power Authority), I'm here on the organization's behalf making a request due to my conflict of interest. I am hoping editors can update figures in the article introduction.
The second sentence of this article states that the NYPA operates "16 generating facilities and more than 1,400 circuit-miles of transmission lines." I'm not sure when these numbers were added to the article, but they are no longer accurate. The NYPA now operates 17 generating facilities and more than 1,550 circuit-miles of transmission lines.
These numbers are confirmed on the NYPA website. You can also find them mentioned in news coverage, such as this article from Bond Buyer and this article from pv magazine.
Can the introduction be updated with these new, accurate numbers? TN NYPA (talk) 18:26, 24 June 2026 (UTC)
Edit Request: Updating filmography and current production status
edit
Hello. I have a professional connection to Chilekotha Films and Niamul Mukta, so I am submitting this edit request here on the Talk page rather than editing the article directly, in compliance with Wikipedia's COI guidelines.
I would like to request an update to the biography and filmography section to accurately reflect the current status of his projects, using standard neutral language as pointed out by reviewers.
Could an independent editor please update the page with the following factual details?
  • Boiddo: The psychological thriller starring Mosharraf Karim has completed post-production and is awaiting release.
  • Cholonbiler Manik: This project is a recipient of the official government film grant (Sorkari Onudan) and is currently in its shooting phase.
Please let me know what specific reliable secondary sources (https://online92-bn.thedailystar.net/entertainment/tv-movies/dhallywood/news-385446 https://www.prothomalo.com/amp/story/entertainment/tv/59b57jxpdv https://samakal.com/entertainment/article/242015/%E0%A6%9A%E0%A6%B2%E0%A6%9A%E0%A7%8D%E0%A6%9A%E0%A6%BF%E0%A6%A4%E0%A7%8D%E0%A6%B0-%E0%A6%A8%E0%A6%BF%E0%A6%B0%E0%A7%8D%E0%A6%AE%E0%A6%BE%E0%A6%A3%E0%A7%87-%E0%A7%A7%E0%A7%AA-%E0%A6%95%E0%A7%8B%E0%A6%9F%E0%A6%BF-%E0%A6%9F%E0%A6%BE%E0%A6%95%E0%A6%BE-%E0%A6%85%E0%A6%A8%E0%A7%81%E0%A6%A6%E0%A6%BE%E0%A6%A8-%E0%A6%A6%E0%A6%BF%E0%A6%B2-%E0%A6%B8%E0%A6%B0%E0%A6%95%E0%A6%BE%E0%A6%B0) you need me to provide here to verify these two current production statuses so the filmography table can be updated cleanly without removing any existing citations. Thank you for your guidance! Sonet42 (talk) 16:40, 20 May 2026 (UTC)
@Sonet42:, thanks for the disclosure. I reformatted the filmography so it will be easier to add your request. However, prior to being able to do so, can you supply sources showing the release dates of the films? The sources show the one receiving a grant but no real information about either. --CNMall41 (talk) 23:16, 25 May 2026 (UTC)
Suggested addition: COST Action ORIGINS
Proposed expansion and sourcing update
edit
I am Nikola Biller-Andorno, the subject of this article, and therefore have a conflict of interest. I am not editing the article directly.
The current article is very short and has a notice requesting additional citations. I would like to propose the following expanded and better-sourced version for review by an uninvolved editor. The proposed text adds sourced information on education, academic appointments, research areas, advisory roles, awards, and selected publications. I would welcome any trimming or rewording needed to meet Wikipedia’s standards for biographies of living persons.
