Another Believer
Question
editYou made the comment on Draft:WTF!: Wrestling's Trashiest Fighters: This submission is part of a larger effort to get articles about RuPaul's Drag Race episodes restored to the main space. This episode has received in-depth reviews by multiple independent and reliable sources (I've included a few in the table below) and the article is long enough to justify a fork from the season page.
What is the history? In particular, were these episodes previously in article space, and when? Also, has there been discussion at the season article talk pages?
Robert McClenon (talk) 17:24, 2 January 2026 (UTC)
- @Robert McClenon There have been several discussions at various venues, including here on my user talk page above, but I think these would offer the most helpful context:
- February 2024: Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_Television/Archive_39#RuPaul's_Drag_Race,_season_7_episodes
- November 2025: Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_Television/Archive_41#RuPaul's_Drag_Race_franchise_episodes_and_notability
- November 2025: User_talk:Another_Believer/Archive_57#AfD
- January 2026: Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_Television/Archive_41#Drag_Race_episodes._Again.
- Yes, many articles were previously in the main space, but I moved them into the draft space voluntarily at the request of others for further development. I have been going through the process of expanding and resubmitting the drafts at AfC. Since November, all ~40 submitted drafts were accepted by uninvolved editors. I'll say little else and let you and others review the discussions and form your own conclusions. I hope these offer helpful context but let me know if you have other questions. Thanks and Happy New Year! ---Another Believer (Talk) 17:39, 2 January 2026 (UTC)
Followup Questions
editThank you for responding. I saw a discussion at WikiProject Television and tried to respond to it, and I think that at least one editor didn't understand what I was trying to say, and I think that I was incorrectly criticized. I had been looking for what was the consensus at the WikiProject about the RuPaul's Drag Race drafts, and I see that there isn't and won't be a consensus. Unless you ask me to wait, I am about to start accepting the episode drafts, and will let the community decide which of them they think pass episode notability. I was waiting for you to reply at WikiProject Television, but it appears that you are, probably wisely, avoiding involvement in that discussion. Should I go ahead and start accepting the drafts? Robert McClenon (talk) 18:07, 3 January 2026 (UTC)
- @Robert McClenon: I do not think it is appropriate for me to have an opinion re: how the drafts should be reviewed, or who should review them. I've made it clear I am going to continue submitting drafts at AfC because I am confident there are many notable episodes, despite a couple other editors saying otherwise ad nauseam and as evidenced by the 40+ drafts accepted thus far. In my opinion, all of these episode entries could be improved to resemble
"And the Rest Is Drag". I don't understand the determination to prevent this from happening. ---Another Believer (Talk) 18:47, 3 January 2026 (UTC)
- My opinion, as I have stated at WikiProject Television, is that the project is divided, so that there is no local consensus, and I would prefer to see the decision about notability made by the community rather than by the lack of a local consensus. As you can see, I have accepted 7 drafts. One is under review by another reviewer. I am not aware of any other episode drafts that are currently waiting for review. If you call my attention to any of them, I will review them. Robert McClenon (talk) 06:32, 4 January 2026 (UTC)
- You write:
I don't understand the determination to prevent this from happening.
. I think I understand it well enough to know what I am disagreeing with. First, I think that some editors don't like drag. They generally won't say so. Second, I can see that some editors think that we have too manylow quality articles
. I don't think that this category includes the drafts in question, but they may think so. Third, I think that some editors think that episode articles should be a rare exception. We can and do disagree, but I think that is why they are opposed. If they want to know what the community thinks , that is what a consensus process such as AFD is for. Robert McClenon (talk) 06:32, 4 January 2026 (UTC)- @Robert McClenon Thanks for being among the 20 editors who have accepted one or more Drag Race episode drafts. I am pleased to see so many entries restored and I am going to continue expanding and submitting drafts for review. ---Another Believer (Talk) 14:00, 5 January 2026 (UTC)

Hi, I made the article Suara Kita for Wikipedia Loves Pride, but it didn't make the counter change. For some reason the next person's article did. How do I make it count? I added it to the list of pages made for the event but it didn't do anything. Urchincrawler (talk) 01:26, 1 June 2026 (UTC)
