DYK for Singapore Rail Test Centre

On 18 July 2025, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Singapore Rail Test Centre, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that before the establishment of the Singapore's Rail Test Centre, the bulk of rolling-stock testing had to be conducted overseas? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Singapore Rail Test Centre. You are welcome to check how many pageviews the nominated article or articles got while on the front page (here's how, Singapore Rail Test Centre), and the hook may be added to the statistics page after its run on the Main Page has completed. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.

Rollback granted

Hi ZKang123. After reviewing your request, I have enabled rollback on your account. Please keep the following things in mind while using rollback:

  • Being granted rollback is no more momentous than installing Twinkle or Ultraviolet. It just adds a [rollback] button next to a page's latest live revision. It does not grant you any additional "status" on Wikipedia, nor does it change how Wikipedia policies apply to you.
  • Rollback should be used to revert clear and unambiguous cases of vandalism only. Never use rollback to revert good faith edits. For more information about when rollback is appropriate, see Wikipedia:Rollback § When to use rollback.
  • Rollback should never be used to edit war, and it should never be used in a content-related dispute to restore the page to your preferred revision. If rollback is abused or used for this purpose or any other inappropriate purpose, the permission will be revoked.
  • Use common sense. If you're not sure about something, ask!

I'm sure you'll do great with rollback, and feel free to leave me a message on my talk page if you run into trouble or have any questions about appropriate use of rollback. If you no longer want rollback, contact me and I'll remove it. For information on rollback, see Wikipedia:Administrators' guide/Rollback (even though you're not an admin) and Wikipedia:Rollback. Good luck and thanks! Malinaccier (talk) 13:48, 6 October 2025 (UTC)

GAN of Trump Tower Belgrade

I wanted to point out that your concerns around the apparent newness of this article and its ability to withstand GAN have merit. Those issues being: that the site is not even built yet, and also the developing nature of the legal issues surrounding Goran Vasic, the director of the cultural institute charged with abuse of power, which the article does not even currently mention. (It does state that he was arrested, but not that he has been charged by a prosecutor). I foresee this article having recurring issues in keeping up-to-date with information, particularly when that information speaks detrimentally to the site's ultimate construction.

It should be noted that the nominator has had issues with premature article creation in the recent past although those issues were dealt with then (and thus, the editor is currently free from any editing restrictions) but it still stands to mention as an issue with regards to the editor generally putting their cart before the horse, so to speak. Regards,  Spintendo  19:57, 21 October 2025 (UTC)

Thanks for raising this. I also felt it's certainly premature and I'm glad you are able to back me up, also pointing out there's actually other coverage that has been missed. While there have been a few GAs with new infrastructure being under construction, I doubt the article would be stable to withstand future updates, and could risk a fail if the article is not kept to standard. There needs to be a sign of future-proofing, and yeah, I doubt it could.--ZKang123 (talk · contribs) 00:36, 22 October 2025 (UTC)

Concern regarding repeated reversions

@ZKang123: I'd like to thank you for your excellent article review of Azalina Othman Said. I really appreciate your suggestions regarding the electoral results section, as I wasn't entirely sure of the best approach to take.

On another note, I wanted to bring to your attention that the user Normal rookie (talk · contribs) has been consistently reverting edits on several GA articles, including both mine and yours on Hannah Yeoh. I have previously warned them about the possibility of an edit war, but the issue has persisted. Pangalau (talk) 15:08, 25 October 2025 (UTC)

Length of 2025 Singaporean general election

I was looking at open GANs and saw 2025 Singaporean general election. At approximately 15,000 words, I worry there's a chance it will end up being failed for excessive detail. It's up to you, but it might be a good idea to go through and consolidate some of the details and/or split off sub-articles with WP:SUMMARY style sections in the main article. Thebiguglyalien (talk) 🛸 19:29, 9 December 2025 (UTC)

Truthfully I modelled it on 2023 Serbian parliamentary election which also has quite excessive detail. I'm not sure which can be further summarised, but I'm open to suggestions.--ZKang123 (talk · contribs) 00:10, 10 December 2025 (UTC)
I've significantly cut down the article by splitting of the campaign section to a separate article (2023 Serbian parliamentary election campaign). The article now stands just under 9,000 words. Vacant0 (talk contribs) 13:43, 10 December 2025 (UTC)
My suggestion would be to split off and create next articles:
I'd also significantly cut down the Reactions section. It's too long and not that important. Vacant0 (talk contribs) 14:04, 10 December 2025 (UTC)
I recommend raising further discussion on this on the talk page for other involved editors to chime in too Thebiguglyalien and Vacant0.--ZKang123 (talk · contribs) 14:26, 10 December 2025 (UTC)

Thanks for your feedback!

Hi! Thanks for your feedback on the sourcing for the Grand People's Study House. I've already removed one of the loaded claims about the library being able to store up to 30 million books, since the actual collection size isn't publicly known. - OpalYosutebitotalk』 『articles I want to eat03:06, 16 February 2026 (UTC)

@OpalYosutebito: Tbh I don't exactly wish for you to remove that; you could say somewhere that "according to North Korean sources..." and whether if there are sources that express doubt about it.
I just think at this stage, for quite an important building of North Korea, it isn't really ready for FAC. I'm sure there might be plenty of commentary from South Korea or maybe even Japan. Or by Russia. With all that exhausted, I guess then the article could be revisited.
I don't wish to dissaude you; there aren't many North Korean FAs except for Pulgasari so far. But I just think, there needs more time for the article to be in comprehensive enough, particularly for a very important article in the North.--ZKang123 (talk · contribs) 10:06, 16 February 2026 (UTC)
