Hello, I'm MrDenjiLover. I noticed that you recently removed content from National Sporting Club without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. - @MrDenjiLover good afternoon. I removed it because I accidentally duplicated the entire article! I will ensure proper summary from now on. thanks for the spot. Metalicat (talk) 16:14, 12 January 2026 (UTC)

Sandbox
editPlease note that pages in your personal sandbox, such as User:Metalicat/sandbox, are not allowed to be filed in categories next to finished articles in mainspace, per WP:USERNOCAT. The page must stay out of any categories so long as it remains in your userspace, and this is not a flexible or negotiable rule.
I've had to pull the page out of categories five times in two weeks, which is five more times than it should have been in any categories at all. Do not put it back into categories again, because sandbox pages aren't allowed to be in categories. Bearcat (talk) 04:00, 17 February 2026 (UTC)
- Apologies, I genuinely didnât realise you couldnât put categories in the sandbox and I donât clock that you were removing them. Wonât happen again. Metalicat (talk) 12:48, 17 February 2026 (UTC)

- This caught my eye when I was browsing today's main page so I clicked through and the article is quite impressive â well done.
- Your user page says that you're especially interested in boxing. This is neglected at ITN, not having an entry in WP:ITNSPORTS, for example. Perhaps you can help so I may ping you when such a topic is under discussion there, if that's ok.
- While I'm here, I'm curious about your account name. Is this related to SchroCat or what?
- Andrewđ(talk) 10:34, 8 April 2026 (UTC)
- Hi Andrew Davidson and thanks very much. Yes Im more than happy to help where I can.
- As for my username, nothing to do with the above mentioned user; it was my old cats name. Was listening to a lot of Metallica at the time of getting him! Metalicat (talk) 12:43, 8 April 2026 (UTC)

FAC
editI am sorry that your nomination of Pat O'Keeffe was closed at FAC as unsuccessful. I recommend reviewing other articles at WP:FAC while you get this article ready for another nomination: reviewing articles helps nominators learn the FA criteria, clears the backlog so that your article is more likely to get noticed, and builds goodwill amongst FAC reviewers. If you have any questions, please ping me or post on WT:FAC. Z1720 (talk) 17:27, 25 April 2026 (UTC)
- @Z1720: Thank you for the message. I have learnt quite a lot these last few months and have enjoyed dipping into GA, PR and FAC reviews. I have re-nominated Pat O'Keeffe and regardless of outcome, look forward to contributing to FAC reviews on a regular basis. Metalicat (talk) 10:46, 28 April 2026 (UTC)
