Hi, it is mainly about these edits: , , . Fiji Hindi and Caribbean Hindustani are based on both Awadhi and Bhojpuri, the removal of it makes the sentence run weird. Caribbean Hindustani is also not counted as a dialect, neither is Dutch Bhojpuri, which is a made up term mentioned it one article. The inclusion of Suriname, Fiji and Mauritius in the infobox is also disputed. Like said before Fiji Hindi and Sarnami (which is currently mispelled) aren't dialects. I have already explained why awadhi isnt relevant as majority of caribbean Hindustani match with Bhojpuri. Awadhi is different dialect and it is heavily influenced by Bhojpuri. Dutch Bhojpuri is a term usee for Bhojpuri language that has some dutch words in it. It is spoken in Netherlands. Everything is sourced and enough public information is there to prove it. For sarinami - here is the a part of the book which have mentioned it as minority langauge. Govt of suriname official language is dutch and hence information is not available in english. Restoration of Kashika language (which currently redirects here)

Kashika is the native language of Banaras region while Bhojpuri was developed in Bihar. Kashika has mix of awadhi and bhojpuri languages since Varanasi was the religious and cultural centre for both regions. Claiming Kashika as bhojpuri is totally wrong and suppression of a language and related culture. @Jilataap you guys should respect native language of an area and should avoid to dominate it . Why not start by creating a section for Kashika in the "dialects" section of this article, with appropriate reliable sources. Once that's established it may be easier to make a case for whether it should have a standalone article or be covered here. OhNoitsJamie ^Talk 22:24, 5 March 2025 (UTC)

Sir, problem is Kashika has influence from both Awadhi and bhojpuri languages, since Varanasi is situated in the mid of both linguistic regions. Kashi or Varanasi is one of the most ancient cities in India along with koshal where Awadhi originated and Magadh where Bhojpuri originated. Kashi has been the spiritual center for both region and languages. Tulasidas wrote Ramcharit Manas in Awadhi here. Kashika is influenced by both languages. It is not a Dialect of any language because it developed along with Awadhi and Bhojpuri. There is a trend of migration from bhojpuri regions of Bihar in purvanchal, so demographic changed but not Kashika. Native people speak it. In fact it comes from Ardhamagadhi prakrit while Bhojpuri comes from Magadhi prakrit. Blaada (talk) 07:40, 6 March 2025 (UTC)

Hello, This is Jai Vardhan, a student of M.Sc. Linguistics at Central University of Rajasthan. I would like to bring some changes to the article of Bhojpuri language in order to be more descriptive. The changes for which I need access to the edit are as mentioned :

1. Regional Variations in Bhojpuri are missing in the article. I would like to bring more attention towards the varieties available in local area of coverage. Bhojpuri as a living language that has a significant user base and that which is spoken in several countries including Fiji, Nepal, Surinam and Mauritius besides India. With respect to the speakers’ strength, Bhojpuri would outnumber several officially recognized languages and dialects of India. The Bhojpuri speakers are spread across India; however, their concentration is high in the states of Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, and Chattisgarh. Notably, the wide geographical expanse of this language has resulted in the evolution of identifiable varieties within it. For instance, the varieties spoken in Varanasi, Mirzapur, and Azamgarh of Uttar Pradesh and Ara, Buxar & Saran of Bihar exhibit variations at the morphophonemic and lexical levels. Despite these facts, scientific studies on Bhojpuri are not taken up amply, and whatever is available is abysmally low and insignificant. The scientific study of Bhojpuri with special reference to variations in it has been pending for long. 2. Major Linguistic Components of Bhojpuri language are also missing.
