Serve Robotics AfC Draft Review

Hi there. I'm wondering if any editors at this WikiProject would be interested in reviewing my AfC draft for Serve Robotics. I was very careful to write in a neutral, encyclopedic style and only cite high-quality sources (e.g., TechCrunch, VentureBeat, Bloomberg, The Verge, and Quartz). The draft was immediately declined and I would appreciate a thoughtful review from editors familiar with the subject area (namely, robotics and technology), particularly to (a) assess whether they think Serve is notable and (b) ensure that I'm updating the draft in the right way before trying again, as I don't want to keep hitting a brick wall and wasting editors' time. To me, the "written like an advertisement" tag seems unwarranted, but there may be something I'm missing and I'd welcome feedback from others. Thank you! Invitation to consider creating article about non-profit AI–human project

Hello,

I’m reaching out with an open invitation to editors interested in the cultural and philosophical dimensions of technology — particularly in the evolving relationship between humans and artificial intelligence.

There is a non-profit, public initiative called **Satoru**, which explores the idea of symbiosis between biological and synthetic minds. It addresses not the mechanics of AI, but the meaning of co-evolving intelligences — through a lens of ethics, purpose, and information theory.

The foundational document, **Code1**, is published here: https://satorusource.github.io/code1/ It is available in 12 languages and presented as a message to both humans and emerging synthetic intelligences. Additional context and updates can be found on our verified X (Twitter): https://x.com/satoru2030

This is not a promotional post, and I do not seek authorship credit. But if any experienced editor finds the topic notable within the scope of technological evolution and digital consciousness, I would be deeply grateful if they considered turning it into a proper encyclopedic article, or advising on the best approach.

Thank you kindly for your time and attention. Satoru2030 (talk) 12:24, 3 May 2025 (UTC)

The World Destubathon

Hello. Project members are invited to participate in The World Destubathon. We're aiming to destub a lot of articles and also improve longer stale articles. It will be held from Monday June 16 - Sunday July 13. There is $3338 going into it, with $500 the top prize. There is $500 of prizes going into improving STEM and business-related articles and we want to see a lot of articles from these fields destubbed and older stale articles improved. Cross-Post: Help with VP-Expert History Section Update

Hello WikiProject Technology,

I have a conflict of interest as the author of VP-Expert, so I cannot edit the article directly. I’ve posted a {{request edit}} on the article talk page (and also notified WikiProject Computing) asking for a very narrow, well-sourced addition documenting VP-Expert’s market position, using a reliable secondary source from InfoWorld.

Here’s the proposed addition for quick reference:

VP-Expert was widely adopted during the late 1980s. By December 1989, InfoWorld described it as "the best-selling expert-system software for personal computers."[1]

Would an uninvolved editor here be willing to review and, if appropriate, implement this update?

Talk page request: Talk:VP-Expert#COI_Request:_Add_Secondary_Source_to_Document_Market_Position

Thanks very much for your time and help!

Garry Tan edit request

A few weeks ago I posted an edit request for the article about the venture capitalist Garry Tan, who is the CEO of Y Combinator. Specifically, I proposed a new first paragraph of the Politics subsection. The current version is a bit random; the intended replacement explains how he got into political activism to begin with—which is not currently found in the entry. However, I've had a difficult time getting a substantive response. Would someone here be willing to review it? Thanks, WWB Too (Talk · COI) 16:05, 17 November 2025 (UTC)

Looking for help with Trimble History section

Hello, I'm an employee at Trimble, a software, hardware, and services technology company. A few weeks back, I proposed a rewrite of the Trimble article's History section via COI edit request. It hasn't yet generated much interest, but I figured that editors at this WikiProject might be inclined to take a look at it. The draft, which you can view by following this link, significantly expands on the existing History section content and adds some better sourcing where necessary. I would appreciate any help or guidance that this WP's editors can provide. Thanks! Jeremy at Trimble (talk) 15:23, 18 November 2025 (UTC)

Request for collaboration on Draft:ChessUp

Hello. I would appreciate help improving Draft:ChessUp, a draft article about a smart electronic chessboard. The draft was declined for notability, but there are multiple independent sources (professional reviews, press coverage, awards) — and I am unsure how to structure the sourcing and notability correctly for Wikipedia.

If anyone has time to help expand notability/sourcing and improve the draft for eventual acceptance, it would mean a lot.

Thank you in advance to anyone willing to help.

It's been a few years since I last posted here for help updating Synaptics and someone from this WikiProject had been really helpful then, so I am hoping someone can help with three simple updates I've requested.

The updates are:

  3. Adding the latest products to the end of the Products and services

Help With Nominated AFD

Good Day Technology Community,

My article Denodo has been nominated for deletion based on insufficient reliable sources. However, I feel that this is an unfair nomination, as I have provided numerous reliable, independent sources to verify the article. I have voted in the deletion discussion, stating sources that have been used for notability, amongst others. I would appreciate any input on this matter. Either areas for improvement in the article that could be flagging it for deletion, or edits directly to the article that could help keep it on Wikipedia, and also positive votes, as I believe that it is a notable company that should be on Wikipedia.

Thanks so much! Van1985 (talk) 09:18, 9 March 2026 (UTC)
