WikiProject New York City is a project to better organize information in articles related to New York City. This page and its subpages contain the suggestions and opinions of interested contributors; it is hoped that this project will help to focus and coordinate the efforts of all. To help, please inquire on the discussion page and see the to-do list there.

Some suggestions for NYC-specific sources can be found at /Sources.

The parents of this WikiProject are WikiProject Cities, and Wikipedia:WikiProject United States whose relevance is somewhat limited vis-a-vis documenting a single very large city and the many communities within it. At a state level, the parent of this project is WikiProject New York (state).

Some are persistent red links or unfortunate obvious omissions, others have been requested elsewhere on Wikipedia. There is also a list of those hopeful articles that fall just short of full greatness, and await only some finishing touches.
