Advice on Mileo submission

edit

Hi this is my first page submission so i'm still learning a bit.

You rejected the page for "poor sourcing", i've added some more secondary sources but i've read mixed things on adding information from interviews with the subject, are those the "poor sources" that you were addressing? Thanks https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:Mileo

Hello.

The paid edit disclosure has been made in my user page and in the page's edit summary, yet, the page edit still been reverted and says I need to request to edit it. Can I ask a request to edit the article again. The request is posted on the page's talk page.

Thank you. Jane1289 (talk) 04:41, 19 May 2026 (UTC)Reply

Please request edits with the template {{edit COI}} and use the format of change X to Y with a reliable source, you will NOT get to re-write the article wholesale. It will be a gradual slow process. 06:11, 19 May 2026 (UTC)

Jean Molitor

edit

Hi, I am currently editing the Jean Molitor Page. You kindly reviewed it an mentioned that we need to include more independent media coverage. I now included some more articles and reports from ARTE, Spiegel and further outlets. I am also gathering further newspaper sources from the countries where he had his exhibitions. Is this then sufficient? All the best and thank you very much,

Help needed with Draft:Chris Meniw - Spanish language sources

edit

Hello everyone,

My draft Draft:Chris Meniw was recently declined by reviewer Theroadislong. The feedback mentioned that sources do not demonstrate notability.

I would like to ask for guidance on how to improve it.

The subject, Chris Meniw, is an Argentine lawyer and technology consultant who created ZOE, considered the first AI teacher in Latin America. He is also CEO of Space Kids Foundation, UN Peace Ambassador, and member of the World Parliament of Education.

Available sources include:

  • Infobae (major Argentine news outlet) - covered ZOE

and mentions Chris Meniw as creator

  • La Prensa Argentina - published a detailed profile

of Chris Meniw specifically

  • El Litoral - published a full interview with

Chris Meniw about technology and education

  • Centro RS Colombia - published an article about

Chris Meniw as main speaker at OLS Global Summit 2025

  • Expreso Ecuador - published a profile interview

about his career and projects

Most sources are in Spanish. Do Spanish-language sources from reputable outlets qualify as reliable independent sources for English Wikipedia?

Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you. EditorLatam2026 (talk) 20:10, 20 May 2026 (UTC)Reply

Spanish-language sources are absolutely fine, but profiles and interviews are NOT independent sources. Theroadislong (talk) 20:22, 20 May 2026 (UTC)Reply
Thank you for the clarification.
I have some sources that are not interviews or profiles,
but independent journalistic articles:
  • Xataka Argentina - independent article analyzing
ZOE's educational impact, mentions Chris Meniw as creator:

arriving to Argentina:
https://www.losandes.com.ar/tecno/zoe-la-primera-profesora-creada-ia-sudamerica-dara-clases-la-argentina-n5957865
  • Infobae - independent coverage of ZOE pilot program:

Joseph K. Levene Fine Art, Ltd. Draft page

edit

I'm new to this so if you could elaborate on your comments. I've read the citation tutorials and thought I did it correctly. Also, please help me understand how to revise the page so it reads less like an advertisment. For example I need to know how to adapt it in reference to a similar entity like https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gagosian_Gallery

Thanks for helping a newbie. Harrybarnet (talk) 17:07, 21 May 2026 (UTC)Reply

your references are dumped at the end of the draft, each reference needs to be placed directly after the content that it supports. Theroadislong (talk) 19:44, 21 May 2026 (UTC)Reply

Full update of Draft: Digital Humanism

edit

Dear Theroadislong,

Thank you for your comments at the first draft version on Digital Humanism. Please review it again.

As you requested, we have added 38 relevant academic peer-reviewed references to the text. We added sections to explain the origin and history of Digital Humanism, the seminal publications on the subject, its key concerns and academic controversies. Given the broad attention to this emerging field of study, and the international research community working now on Digital Humanism, as shown by the large number of recent publications (notably since the 2020s), we hope you will soon accept the page for publication. Please let us know asap if any further info is needed.

Have a nice day! Marie Sarava (talk) 06:21, 22 May 2026 (UTC)Reply

You will need to re-submit to get another review. Theroadislong (talk) 06:23, 22 May 2026 (UTC)Reply

Regarding Harambee (neighborhood)

edit

Hello @Theroadislong

Just wanted to let you know that the draft for Harambee (neighborhood) which You declined back in December. The page later got moved to mainspace anyway.

Here is the full background, which I got from the SPI case page:

  • The blocked user CheeseJadenVR first created Draft:Harambee, Milwaukee. That draft was deleted as G13 in November. About a month later, JadenGotLost (a confirmed sock) recreated that draft and redirected it to WilliamAftonHere's draft, which was called Draft:Harambee (neighborhood), the same draft which you have rejected it's AFC submission was moved into Mainspace by MediaKyle. after WilliamAftonHere got blocked, JadenGotLost(also owned by the same master) began making significant edits onto the page, evading the Block.
  • The edit filter shows that the draft focused heavily on etymology, which matches the draft created by WilliamAftonHere on December 7.

I tried to get the mainspace page deleted under CSD:G5. MediaKyle declined, saying there are substantial edits by others.

But the edits from other users are mostly HotCat category changes, coordinate fixes, and bot maintenance. Nothing that adds real substance. The actual content came from the blocked accounts.

Since you declined the draft yourself, I thought you should know the full history and that the G5 decline overlooked how minor the other edits really are.

Thanks.

You obviously didn't look very closely. I expanded the article and added several references before accepting it -- when Theroadislong rightfully declined it, it was a substub with 3 citations. If you are bothered, you can always go to AfD, but I think this neighbourhood is notable personally. MediaKyle (talk) 16:36, 2 June 2026 (UTC)Reply
Yes looks fine to me, passes WP:GEOLAND. Theroadislong (talk) 18:19, 2 June 2026 (UTC)Reply

Pat Hanson notability tag

edit

Hello Theroadislong, I am new to Wiki and trying to learn, so I hope that you can advise me. I believe that you added a notability tag to the Pat Hanson (architect) page. She recently won the RAIC Gold Medal which is the highest honour for a living architect in Canada and is a juried award granted by Royal Architectural Institute of Canada [1]. Do you need more information about her influence or citations to be willing to remove the tag? I represent Pat Hanson so I am not trying to make the changes myself, but I am wondering what information I can provide to support the tag removal? Hello, I was hoping you could help me, this game is extremely rare and I have been unable to locate any citation that meets Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, what citations can I use if none exists? Thank you Timm7300 (talk) 22:46, 5 June 2026 (UTC)Reply
