Thanks so much for the feedback. Yes, in looking more closely at Wikipedia guidelines for paid contributions, I realize I should have added a statement on the talk page accompanying any paid contributions that I made. I will make sure to do that in the future, and will do so for any post paid contributions that I have previously made. Regarding your comment about other accounts that have been engaging in covert advertisement, I do not have any connections to any other accounts. I'm not sure how you have gotten that information, but this must be a mistake. PSPazW (talk) 22:13, 24 September 2020 (UTC)Reply

After consulting the CheckUser who delivered the SPI results, I am going to grant this unblock request. Please be sure that your future contributions are consistent with WP:PAID and WP:COI. I'm also blocking the Jsobel123 account  you can use this account or Jsobel123, but not both, so let me know if you'd prefer to use that one. If it's just the "This account is a suspected sockpuppet of Dan Sander (talk · contribs · logs) and has been blocked indefinitely" message you can remove that if you'd like  that's just a maintenance tag and doesn't actually create a block on its own. Your recent article submission to Articles for Creation has been reviewed! Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reasons left by AngusWOOF were:
This submission appears to read more like an advertisement than an entry in an encyclopedia. Encyclopedia articles need to be written from a neutral point of view, and should refer to a range of independent, reliable, published sources, not just to materials produced by the creator of the subject being discussed. This is important so that the article can meet Wikipedia's verifiability policy and the notability of the subject can be established. If you still feel that this subject is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia, please rewrite your submission to comply with these policies.
This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject (see the guidelines on the notability of music-related topics). Before any resubmission, additional references meeting these criteria should be added (see technical help and learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue). If no additional references exist, the subject is not suitable for Wikipedia.
The comment the reviewer left was:
Please indicate how this person meets WP:MUSICBIO. I don't see any notable charting. Also needs extenal news sources that focus on Sparks's career not passing mentions and not interviews.
Please check the submission for any additional comments left by the reviewer. You are encouraged to edit the submission to address the issues raised and resubmit when they have been resolved.

Your recent article submission to Articles for Creation has been reviewed! Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reason left by BuySomeApples was:
This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject (see the guidelines on the notability of music-related topics). Before any resubmission, additional references meeting these criteria should be added (see technical help and learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue). Speedy deletion nomination of Robert Sirota

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Robert Sirota requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from https://www.jensenartists.com/robert-sirota. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Robert Sirota moved to draftspace

edit

An article you recently created, Robert Sirota, is not suitable as written to remain published. Since you have declared your paid editing status, this must go through AfC for review. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, and have addressed the UPE/COI issue, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. As per WP policy, please do not move into mainspace yourself. Onel5969 TT me 16:43, 20 February 2023 (UTC)Reply

Thanks, OneI. I always submit my paid contributions through the editorial system, but in this case it didn't give me that option; somehow because a previous draft was still in the system, it only allowed me to directly publish my new one. I'll try again to submit properly and see if it works this time. PSPazW (talk) 18:11, 20 February 2023 (UTC)Reply

Make sure you add references that meet these criteria before resubmitting. Learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue. If no additional references exist, the subject is not suitable for Wikipedia.
Your recent article submission to Articles for Creation has been reviewed. Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reason left by Jamiebuba was:
This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject (see the guidelines on the notability of people). Before any resubmission, additional references meeting these criteria should be added (see technical help and learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue). Hello! I'm wondering what you felt was insufficient here, since I've got more than 10 press sources focused specifically on the subject. Is it that most of these sources are industry press as opposed to more "mainstream" press? Hoping to gain some guidance for improving it. Thanks! PSPazW (talk) 19:03, 21 March 2024 (UTC)Reply

Hi @S0091: and @PSPazW:
I have a conflict of interest! I have known Cary Baker since I was a teenager; I was an REM fanatic and he was their publicist. That said, PSPazW, if you search ProQuest via the Wikipedia Library and Google books I suspect you will find the necessary coverage. If not, I'm sure there will be ample press when the book comes out. JSFarman (talk) 20:28, 12 June 2024 (UTC)Reply
Oh yeah, I didn't notice PSPazW meets the requirements for WP:Wikipedia Library access. PSPazW it should be automatic, meaning you don't need to request access. S0091 (talk) 20:39, 12 June 2024 (UTC)Reply
edit

Hi PSPazW, first thank for you making the disclosures on you User page. I looked the for one regarding Cory Baker but did not find one specific to him. I am assuming it is one them though. Can you point me to which one? I also assume all your editing is on the behalf of a client. If that is correct, it might be good idea to make a blanket statement at the top of your User page simply stating you are a paid editor. I also wonder if it wouldn't be more efficient/clear to list the drafts/articles on your User page and make the more detailed declaration on the draft/article's talk pages? S0091 (talk) 18:20, 12 June 2024 (UTC)Reply

Hi and thanks for the helpful comments. Conqueroo is the client for the Cary Baker article. Regarding reviews of his book, it's not out till this fall and so there are no reviews yet. I'm going to look for better citations for the narrative, although I have done a pretty thorough search already. Also there will be a citation for his papers being at the Rock Hall of Fame available soon. PSPazW (talk) 18:53, 12 June 2024 (UTC)Reply
And I forgot to put my disclosure on the article talk page. It's there now. :-) PSPazW (talk) 18:56, 12 June 2024 (UTC)Reply
Thanks for pointing to the disclosure. As for as the disclosure on the talk page, actually the WP:Paid policy states "or", quote: They must do this on their main user page, or on the talk page accompanying any paid contributions, or in edit summaries. so technically you are not required to do both (but please keep doing it because it is helpful). That's why I am wondering if there's not a better approach for a scenario like yours. My guess is when the core policy developed editors assumed client=draft/article but that's not the situation here. If I understand it correctly, you are person/firm A (PSPazW) who has been hired by person/firm B (Oren Hope, they pay you/firm A) to edit/create articles on Wikipedia behalf the clients of person/firm C (Conqueroo, who pays Oren), which could be several draft/articles. Is that about right or am I off? To be clear, you are doing everything right so this is not a complaint. S0091 (talk) 19:24, 12 June 2024 (UTC)Reply
Yes, that's basically right. PSPazW (talk) 19:54, 12 June 2024 (UTC)Reply
Thanks PSPazW. There's no additional actions you need to take other than keep doing what you have doing as far the disclosures. For Baker, reviews of his book might be enough for notability but so much of the content is supported by sources based on what he says about himself that it might still fail WP:NPOV. Beware of WP:OVERCITE. We just need three best reliable sources for a content you need to cite a source, and not up to five. On that case sources should be secondary and independent of Shank.

Before any resubmission, additional references meeting these criteria should be added (see technical help and learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue). If no additional references exist, the subject is not suitable for Wikipedia.
The comment the reviewer left was:
Please post your WP:THREE here, or on the talk page. The sources so far are non-independent or non-secondary, and occasionally don't support the facts they are attached to.
Please check the submission for any additional comments left by the reviewer. You are encouraged to edit the submission to address the issues raised and resubmit after they have been resolved.

Your submission at Articles for creation: Mary Alice Stephenson (June 21)

edit
Your recent article submission to Articles for Creation has been reviewed. Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reason left by Lijil was:
This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject (see the guidelines on the notability of people). Before any resubmission, additional references meeting these criteria should be added (see technical help and learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue). If no additional references exist, the subject is not suitable for Wikipedia.
The comment the reviewer left was:
The article doesn't clearly show that Stephenson is notable. She may potentially meet the relevant requirements (including WP:GNG, WP:ANYBIO) but presently it is not clear that she does. It would help our volunteer reviewers if you could identify, on the draft's talk page, the WP:THREE best sources that establish notability of the subject. It would also be helpful if you could please identify with specificity, exactly which criteria you believe the page meets (eg "I think the page now meets WP:ANYBIO criteria #3, because XXXXX"). Alternatively you may want to consider seeing whether Glam4Good fulfils notability criteria and if so draft an article for that instead.
Please check the submission for any additional comments left by the reviewer. You are encouraged to edit the submission to address the issues raised and resubmit after they have been resolved.
Lijil (talk) 17:50, 21 June 2025 (UTC)Reply
Hi and thanks for your quick review! I've added my WP:THREE to the draft talk page. It's hard to nail down how to place her in the WP_ANYBIO criteria – actually I've always wondered why there wasn't a category in Wikipedia:Notability (people) for business/commerce/entrepreneur/executive type individuals who have been in the public eye. But anyway. If your judgement stands, I might just do as you suggest and try a draft of Glam4Good. PSPazW (talk) 13:31, 23 June 2025 (UTC)Reply

Your submission at Articles for creation: Seon Technologies (October 2)

edit
Your recent article submission to Articles for Creation has been reviewed. Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reason left by Pythoncoder was:
This submission appears to read more like an advertisement than an entry in an encyclopedia. Encyclopedia articles need to be written from a neutral point of view, and should refer to a range of independent, reliable, published sources, not just to materials produced by the creator of the subject being discussed. This is important so that the article can meet Wikipedia's verifiability policy and the notability of the subject can be established. If you still feel that this subject is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia, please rewrite your submission to comply with these policies.

Seon Technologies moved to draftspace

edit

An article you recently created, Seon Technologies, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Speedy deletion nomination of Draft:Honey Bxby

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Draft:Honey Bxby, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Cabinet G. edit
Draft declined
Thank you for contributing to Wikipedia. Your draft submission to Articles for creation has been reviewed but not accepted at this time.
Feedback
The reviewer, RangersRus, left the following feedback:
This draft's references do not show that the subject meets Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion for music. The draft requires either:

or multiple published secondary sources that:

  • provide significant coverage: discuss the subject in detail, not just brief mentions or routine announcements;
  • are reliable: from reputable outlets with editorial oversight;
  • are independent: not connected to the subject, such as interviews, press releases, the subject's own website, or sponsored content.

Please add references that meet these criteria. If none exist, the subject is not yet suitable for Wikipedia.

It is often easier to prove the notability of an album or artist than an individual song or band member. If the subject is not yet notable, consider improving a relevant existing article instead.
Please find multiple critical reviews from reliable sources. No blogs please.

Next steps

  • Edit Draft:Be Love (Riopy Album) to address the points above, making sure to publish any changes.
  • When you are ready to resubmit your draft for review, click the Resubmit button.
