Welcome!
editHello, ILoveDogs1337, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of your recent edits to the page Adverse childhood experiences did not conform to Wikipedia's verifiability policy, and may have been removed. Wikipedia articles should refer only to facts and interpretations verified in reliable, reputable print or online sources or in other reliable media. Always provide a reliable source for quotations and for any material that is likely to be challenged, or it may be removed. Wikipedia also has a related policy against including original research in articles.
If you are stuck and looking for help, please see the guide for citing sources or come to The Teahouse, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have.
I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Again, welcome! Dr vulpes (Talk) 23:01, 30 September 2025 (UTC)
Childhood Crimes
editHey @ILoveDogs1337, I noticed you've added to the Adverse Childhood Experiences article that it's also known as Childhood Crimes, do you have a source for this? I used to be an ACEs scholar and I've never seen this wording used in the literature. Dr vulpes (Talk) 05:19, 1 October 2025 (UTC)
On Tifinagh
editHi there. Regarding your recent addition to the table of Phoenician letters and its derivations, I'd suggest we don't add Tifinagh. You see, its predecessor Libyco-Berber is already there, and it nicely represents and includes the Berber abjad family with its (purported) closest relative to the Phoenician script. But Tuareg Tifinagh has many differences and a highly derived set of letters that are hard to (immediately) reconcile with Phoenician. Not that there isn't an explanation, but that table isn't going to depict the complex relationship between graphemes. Never mind Neo-Tifinagh, which I think should never be included for obvious reasons. I personally consider the table is already overly inflated as it is. It should only depict those alphabets closely related to Phoenician, and I believe including more than one Indic abugida, Cyrillic or Mongolian is beyond absurd as they are highly evolved and derive from many intermediaries. The same goes for Tifinagh. Regards. 31.221.135.15 (talk) 19:18, 2 October 2025 (UTC)
Signing in articles
edit
Hello, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. I've noticed that you have been adding your signature to some of your edits to articles, such as the edit you made to Neologism. This is a common mistake to make and has probably already been corrected. Please do not sign your edits to article content, as the article's edit history serves the function of attributing contributions, so you only need to use your signature to make discussions more readable, such as on talk pages or project pages such as the Teahouse. If you would like further information about distinguishing types of pages, please see What is an article? Again, thank you for contributing, and enjoy your Wikipedia experience! Thank you. - Arjayay (talk) 14:25, 10 October 2025 (UTC)

Please do not introduce incorrect information into articles, as you did to String operations. Your edits do not appear to be constructive and have been reverted. If you believe the information you added was correct, please cite references or sources or discuss the changes on the article's talk page before making them again. If you would like to experiment, use your sandbox. Thank you. Belbury (talk) 17:29, 2 November 2025 (UTC)
Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. Constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, but a recent edit of yours to the page String operations has an edit summary that appears to be inadequate, inaccurate, or inappropriate. The summaries are helpful to people browsing an article's history, so it is important that you use edit summaries that accurately tell other editors what you did. Speedy deletion nomination of Fakoo
edit
If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Fakoo, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Sumanuil. Speedy deletion nomination of Draft:Fakoo
edit
If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Draft:Fakoo requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from https://fakoo.de/en/fakoo.html. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.
If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

A tag has been placed on File:Fakoo alphabet (from the website).png requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a copyright violation of https://fakoo.de/en/fakoo/fakoo-alphabet.html?pl (lists this as CC-BY-NC licenced; cannot be freely hosted on Wikipedia, could not be claimed as fair use) and has no credible claim of non-free use or permission. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. Repeatingly restoring content
edit
Hi ILoveDogs1337! I noticed that you've made several edits in order to restore your preferred version of String operations. The impulse to repeatedly undo an edit you disagree with is understandable, but I wanted to make sure that you're aware of Wikipedia's edit warring policy. Repeatedly undoing the changes made by other users in a back-and-forth fashion like this is disallowed, even if you feel what you're doing is justifiable.
All editors are expected to discuss content disputes on article talk pages in order to try to reach a consensus with the other editors involved. If you are unable to come to an agreement at Talk:String operations, please use one of the dispute resolution options that are available in order to seek input from others. Using this approach instead of repeatedly reverting other editors' changes can help you avoid getting drawn into edit wars. You seem to have misunderstood what the section is about; replacing all of one letter with another in a piece of text would not work as a word filter.. Belbury (talk) 09:11, 4 November 2025 (UTC)

Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, please note that there is a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Deviating from this style, as you did in Stranger in a Strange Land, disturbs uniformity among articles and may cause readability or accessibility problems. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Criticize (talk) 15:30, 5 November 2025 (UTC)
Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. I noticed that your recent edit to Stranger in a Strange Land did not have an edit summary. Collaboration among editors is fundamental to Wikipedia, and every edit should be explained by a clear edit summary, or by discussion on the talk page. Please use the edit summary field to explain your reasoning for an edit and/or to describe what it changes. Summaries save time for other editors and reduce the chances that your edit will be misunderstood. For some edits, an adequate summary may be quite brief.
The edit summary field looks like this:
or in the visual editor:
Please provide an edit summary for every edit you make. When logged in to your Wikipedia account, you can give yourself a reminder by setting Preferences → Editing →
Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary (or the default undo summary), and then click the "Save" button.

You're grounded grounded grounded grounded grounded grounded grounded for 10 decades! Go to your room right now! Yeah, but I'll explain the part. Anyone can create a personal web page, self-publish a book, or claim to be an expert. Self-published material, such as books, patents, newsletters, personal websites, open wikis, personal or group blogs (as distinguished from newsblogs, above), content farms, podcasts, Internet forum postings, and social media postings, are largely not acceptable as sources. Self-published sources may be considered reliable if published by an established subject-matter expert, whose work in the relevant field has previously been published by reliable, independent publications.[a] Be careful when using such sources: if the information in question is suitable for inclusion, someone else will likely have published it in independent, reliable sources.[1] Never use self-published sources as third-party sources about living people, even if the author is an expert, well-known professional researcher, or writer.— Preceding unsigned comment added by ILoveDogs1337 (talk • contribs) 15:33, 22 November 2025 (UTC)

- ↑ Self-published material is characterized by the lack of independent reviewers (those without a conflict of interest) validating the reliability of the content. Further examples of self-published sources include press releases, the material contained within company websites, advertising campaigns, material published in media by the owner(s)/publisher(s) of the media group, self-released music albums, and electoral manifestos:
- The University of California, Berkeley, library states: "Most pages found in general search engines for the web are self-published or published by businesses small and large with motives to get you to buy something or believe a point of view. Even within university and library web sites, there can be many pages that the institution does not try to oversee."
- Princeton University offers this understanding in its publication, Academic Integrity at Princeton (2011): "Unlike most books and journal articles, which undergo strict editorial review before publication, much of the information on the Web is self-published. To be sure, there are many websites in which you can have confidence: mainstream newspapers, refereed electronic journals, and university, library, and government collections of data. But for vast amounts of Web-based information, no impartial reviewers have evaluated the accuracy or fairness of such material before it's made instantly available across the globe."
- The "College of St. Catherine Libraries Guide to Chicago Manual of Style" (DEKloiber, December 1, 2003) states, "Any site that does not have a specific publisher or sponsoring body should be treated as unpublished or self-published work."

(Non-administrator comment) Please read through all the warnings on your Talk page and the ANI thread linked in the last section, because that's not the only reason you were blocked. You should also re-read the Guide to appealing blocks as you've not addressed most of the things you need to.
We already know what you did, it's clear in the multiple warnings messages above. You need to read through all of those & the ANI thread, then explain why you caused those problems and convince an admin that you understand exactly what to do to avoid each one from happening again.
Blocks are to prevent disruption, so you need to prove that you won't continue to be disruptive. Just saying you'll do better isn't enough, you need to describe exactly what you'll do differently next time. Blue Sonnet (talk) 08:02, 23 November 2025 (UTC)

I've moved your latest appeal to the bottom of the page, please keep things in time order so they make sense. This is kinda long, but please read it all as I think it'll really help you.
I'll be very honest with you - you've not really addressed what happened properly. You need to explain why you behaved that way and what's changed in the short amount of time that's passed.
I don't think you've done enough to persuade an admin that you won't make more unacceptable comments like you did before. Just saying you don't do it again isn't going to cut it - people say that all the time because it's easier to say than do. You need to show proper understanding of everything that happened and that can't be done in one sentence.
I'm also worried because half of your edits had to be undone by other editors for many different reasons - basically they didn't meet various Wikipedia policies.
We're all volunteers, doing this in our own time, so whenever you vandalise or make a poor-quality edit, someone else has to fix that and it's not fair that they have to do that. You are responsible for reading and learning how Wikipedia works; whenever you get a warning you should be reading it to try to understand why there was a problem and what to do next time.
I think this appeal will be declined unless you can be very open and persuasive about what happened for every warning you received, why it happened and how you'd act differently next time.
You do have a way out of this - I think the Standard offer (link) would be great for you.
You need proof that you've changed and can be a good editor, yes?
You can get that proof at Simple English Wikipedia (link), a project that's very similar to Wikipedia but is much easier to understand and, more importantly, where you're not currently blocked. You edit over on Simple for a few months, learn the ropes and build up a history of good editing. You can even choose a different Wikipedia project at List of Wikipedias, if something else takes your fancy.
Then you come back here in six months or so, with a load of evidence to back up your next appeal - you can go "Look, I know I screwed up and didn't react the way I should have. I've learned how to be a good editor, here's all my proof!"
Does that sound like a good idea? There are some great editors and even admins who were in the exact same situation you are in now - they followed the Standard offer and learned how to do better. I think you can do this too. Blue Sonnet (talk) 20:55, 23 November 2025 (UTC)

Request reason:
Here's a timeline. In October 2025, I wanted to change another user's name. In November 2025, I forgot to know how to cite a source. Now, i'll stick to expanding stubs. ILoveDogs1337 (talk) 07:20, 9 December 2025 (UTC)
Decline reason:
Your unblock request is inadequate. You should take the standard offer and re-apply in 6 months time with no abuse of multiple accounts. You should use your time to contribute to another Wikimedia site, perhaps the Simple English Wikipedia. PhilKnight (talk) 17:08, 9 December 2025 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
(Non-administrator comment) We already know what you did and what you want to do, the missing piece of the puzzle is proof that you can be trusted on Wikipedia.
It's been less than a month since your appeal was declined, and there's nothing in your new appeal that's substantially different to your last one. I am almost certain that it'll just be declined again.
I strongly suggest you delete this open appeal (whilst it's still blue) - declined (orange) appeals can't be deleted and will stay here for everyone to view unless you make a successful appeal in future.
Delete this appeal and focus your efforts on the Standard offer I recommended earlier - this is your only realistic prospect for getting unblocked.
This new appeal also resets the six month waiting period on the Standard offer, another reason you should delete it before an admin sees it. Blue Sonnet (talk) 14:21, 9 December 2025 (UTC)
- Your appeal was declined, please be aware that the six month waiting period is from the date of your last edit - the date of your appeal. If you try to appeal again, that will keep getting longer. Please follow the advice I gave last month, this is really your best chance to come back. Blue Sonnet (talk) 17:13, 9 December 2025 (UTC)
Unblock Request

Decline reason:
I am declining your unblock request because it does not address the reason for your block, or because it is inadequate for other reasons. To be unblocked, you must convince the reviewing administrator(s) that
- the block is not necessary to prevent damage or disruption to Wikipedia, or
- the block is no longer necessary because you:
- understand what you have been blocked for,
- will not continue to cause damage or disruption, and
- will make useful contributions instead.
Please read the guide to appealing blocks for more information. asilvering (talk) 05:43, 11 December 2025 (UTC)

This request is going to be declined, I have the strangest feeling that telling admins "Do not decline this unblock request." and ignoring all the advice given to you won't work... Blue Sonnet (talk) 07:53, 10 December 2025 (UTC)
