Your submission at Articles for creation: Norval MacGregor (October 23)

Your recent article submission to Articles for Creation has been reviewed! Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reason left by Clarityfiend was:
This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject (see the guidelines on the notability of people). Before any resubmission, additional references meeting these criteria should be added (see technical help and learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue). If no additional references exist, the subject is not suitable for Wikipedia.
The comment the reviewer left was:
Fails WP:CREATIVE and WP:GNG. A one-sentence article with a filmography doesn't cut it.
Please check the submission for any additional comments left by the reviewer. You are encouraged to edit the submission to address the issues raised and resubmit when they have been resolved.

I have resubmitted. The existing sourcing in the article refers to it as a traditional sport. I can't imagine why we would exclude it. Are we bigots? Needing a copy-edit is also a bad reason to exclude a notable subject. FloridaArmy (talk) 21:00, 26 October 2019 (UTC)

There's only one good source, his entry in the Biographical Dictionary of Silent Film Western Actors and Actresses. Your submission at Articles for creation: Moses White (November 10)

Your recent article submission to Articles for Creation has been reviewed! Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reasons left by AngusWOOF were:
This submission is not adequately supported by reliable sources. Reliable sources are required so that information can be verified. If you need help with referencing, please see Referencing for beginners and Citing sources.
This submission appears to read more like an advertisement than an entry in an encyclopedia. Encyclopedia articles need to be written from a neutral point of view, and should refer to a range of independent, reliable, published sources, not just to materials produced by the creator of the subject being discussed. This is important so that the article can meet Wikipedia's verifiability policy and the notability of the subject can be established. If you still feel that this subject is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia, please rewrite your submission to comply with these policies.
The comment the reviewer left was:
Wikipedia is not a memorial service, so the article should not be written with an obituary/hagiographic tone.
Please check the submission for any additional comments left by the reviewer. You are encouraged to edit the submission to address the issues raised and resubmit when they have been resolved.

Your submission at Articles for creation: Universidad Loyola de Bolivia (November 13)

Your recent article submission to Articles for Creation has been reviewed! Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reason left by GeneralPoxter was:
This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject (see the guidelines on the notability of organizations and companies). Before any resubmission, additional references meeting these criteria should be added (see technical help and learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue). If no additional references exist, the subject is not suitable for Wikipedia.
Please check the submission for any additional comments left by the reviewer. You are encouraged to edit the submission to address the issues raised and resubmit when they have been resolved.

Proposed deletion of Williams Kaliman

Notice

The article Williams Kaliman has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Only seems to be notable for brief involvement in 2019 Bolivian political crisis, which is already covered on the appropriate page. Continuing coverage has not mentioned him. This seems like it should be an uncontroversial deletion per WP:SINGLEEVENT.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.cmonghost 👻 (talk) 20:01, 15 November 2019 (UTC)

why stuff like bare URLs, still?

Hey i noticed Draft:William Redding & Son which is submitted by you to AFC. Why are you still creating stuff with all bare URLs? This seems to be pushing burden to others, where you should be taking care of stuff like that yourself. You know that. Also it refers to "Demver" where "Denver" is intended. This overall seems sloppy.

As you know i have created a lot of articles about architects of that era, and I do think the topic is probably valid for Wikipedia. And I have been a supporter of you, yourself. But this seems like you are pushing it. I am not reviewing all that you do, and I know that you have contributed good stuff. But if you are generally doing stuff like this, then you are diminishing my interest in being a supporter, at least. --Doncram (talk) 11:47, 18 November 2019 (UTC)

I'm sorry you consider it a burden to help improve the work of other editors Doncram. I saw that subject was missing when I was working on another article subject with a similar last name. I've been working it up and improving it and will continue to do so.
Article editing doesn't stop when a draft is submitted or when it's approved.
If you're burdened by helping on articles I'm working on then please just avoid them. FloridaArmy (talk) 18:25, 18 November 2019 (UTC)

ArbCom 2019 election voter message

Hello! Voting in the 2019 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 on Monday, 2 December 2019. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2019 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:20, 19 November 2019 (UTC)

Your submission at Articles for creation: Seabrook House (October 20)

Your recent article submission to Articles for Creation has been reviewed! Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reason left by Theroadislong was:
This submission appears to read more like an advertisement than an entry in an encyclopedia. Encyclopedia articles need to be written from a neutral point of view, and should refer to a range of independent, reliable, published sources, not just to materials produced by the creator of the subject being discussed. This is important so that the article can meet Wikipedia's verifiability policy and the notability of the subject can be established. If you still feel that this subject is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia, please rewrite your submission to comply with these policies.
The comment the reviewer left was:
Tone is totally inappropriate.
