Your recent article submission to Articles for Creation has been reviewed! Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reason left by Scope creep was:
This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject (see the guidelines on the notability of people). Before any resubmission, additional references meeting these criteria should be added (see technical help and learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue). What about this cited source User:Kvng? FloridaArmy (talk) 23:37, 23 May 2019 (UTC)
That's borderline. The fact that a library is holding on to her stuff (indirectly) argues that she's important. It would not be borderline if there were a statement from the library explaining the import of this material and why they're holding it rather than the dry description from their catalog that we have here. It is difficult to build a notability case from what you can find freely on the internet today for many pre-internet subjects. Most editors appreciate this so that reduces the possibility that someone will try to delete this if you were to move it to mainspace yourself. ~Kvng (talk) 00:42, 24 May 2019 (UTC)

An automated process has detected that when you recently edited William Nicholas Selig, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Travelogue (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver).

Another arbitrary break

Your Girl and Mine moved to draftspace

An article you recently created, Your Girl and Mine, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Hello and thank you for your edits. If you are going to restore unsourced material as you did on the Belkin gallery article, please add appropriate sources. Some of the material "Admission is free" etc is also clearly promotional, and other material is just plain unsourced. Per WP:NOTPROMO and WP:VERIFY, these items need sources or do not belong, respectively. You also removed valid tags: it was tagged for notability and refimprove as there was only one indepndent source. SO, if you are goign to revert these edits again, you need to do so with reasons and sources if you want to act within established policy. Thanks! ThatMontrealIP (talk) 14:21, 10 June 2019 (UTC)

Your recent article submission to Articles for Creation has been reviewed! Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reason left by Jodi.a.schneider was:
This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject (see the guidelines for academics). Before any resubmission, additional references meeting these criteria should be added (see technical help and learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue). If no additional references exist, the subject is not suitable for Wikipedia.
The comment the reviewer left was:
It's necessary to articulate how the subject of this biography meets criteria for inclusion on Wikipedia. The most relevant are probably these, for academics: Wikipedia:Notability_(academics)#Criteria

Also note the policy on living persons: Wikipedia:Biographies_of_living_persons#Reliable_sources

Good luck and hope that helps!

Your submission at Articles for creation: Tameka Hobbs (June 17)

Your recent article submission to Articles for Creation has been reviewed! Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reason left by Zanhe was:
This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject (see the guidelines for academics). Before any resubmission, additional references meeting these criteria should be added (see technical help and learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue). If no additional references exist, the subject is not suitable for Wikipedia.

User:Mjs1991, my entry didn't "already exist". My entry was worked up in April and the article in mainspace was created in June while the draft languished waiting for a review. What a waste of time. And not the first time this.has happened. A history merge would be the appropriate outcome. And your redirecting a far more conprehensive entry to the more limited entry created subsequent to it seems misguided. FloridaArmy (talk) 02:11, 21 June 2019 (UTC)

I have resubmitted. The cited sources have extensive coverage of Friedman, controversies at the school, anti-semitism, his marriage, his policy initiatives at the school, his relation to Pop Warner and Jim Thorpe in the school's athletic programs also Dietz, and include hotographs. the second source is a book about the school from 1998 with an entire section on Friedman. So decades later he was still being discussed. FloridaArmy (talk) 13:24, 21 June 2019 (UTC)
