Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited List of Fox Searchlight Pictures films (2000–2009), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Indian Paintbrush. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ  Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, --DPL bot (talk) 19:54, 29 December 2024 (UTC)Reply

Information icon Hi Editoman! I noticed that you recently marked an edit as minor that may not have been. "Minor edit" has a specific definition on Wikipedia—it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typo corrections or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not a minor edit, even if it only concerns a single word. Thank you. Daniel Quinlan (talk) 18:02, 5 January 2025 (UTC)Reply

Distribution confusion

edit

I live in the UK what I hate is films having different distributors outside the United States when I look up films for example Zero Dark Thirty I see Columbia Pictures as the film's distributor though I remember seeing the Universal logo on the spine of a DVD I found of the film I understand it would be unnecessary to put down all independent distributors for a film and they best way is to restrict it to the film's country of origin and to put both foreign and domestic distributors if there are at least two sadly there is more than one country that speaks English for people living in the UK, South Africa, Australia or New Zealand would get confused If a different distributor appeared when looking up a film I like that the Italian Wikipedia restricts to the film's Italian distributor because Italy is the only country that speaks Italian. I prefer when a film is distributed by a studio in English speaking territories as if for example an australian looks up a film on a US web page the distributor would be consistent I think it is a stupid idea for studios to distribute a film exclusively in it's country rather than worldwide, one studio has to have the reputation. Information icon Please do not add or change content, as you did at Porky's, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. NinjaRobotPirate (talk) 04:03, 8 February 2025 (UTC)Reply

Warning icon Please stop. If you continue to add unsourced or poorly sourced content, as you did at Machete (2010 film), you may be blocked from editing. NinjaRobotPirate (talk) 03:27, 10 February 2025 (UTC)Reply

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you add unsourced or poorly sourced material to Wikipedia, as you did at Die Hard with a Vengeance. Typically I'd leave a softer warning, but I see you've already been warned about adding unsourced content several times this month; this needs to stop. Twentieth Century House moved to draftspace

edit

Thanks for your contributions to Twentieth Century House. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it needs more sources to establish notability. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.

Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit the draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. Onel5969 TT me 15:38, 19 June 2025 (UTC)Reply
