ArbCom 2025 Elections voter message

Hello! Voting in the 2025 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 1 December 2025. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

A note on article assessments

Hi @Awkwafaba, I'm reaching out today to ask that you review a series of article assessments you completed several years ago on account of the fact that they've led to a some issues with proper categorization on WikiProject Politics. An example I'll note here is 2021 Solomon Islands unrest, which would not be considered important or notable outside of the specific region it occurred in, and which displays a fair degree of bias towards the country under discussion, which is not the sole focus of the WikiProject. If you have the time, I'd greatly appreciate your reviewing those assessments, many of which I imagine can be found here under 'high', so as to provide proper consideration of political topics as presented here.
