Would this alt work, as the Delorean was a real vehicle? CaptainGalaxy 14:23, 2 December 2023 (UTC)Reply
I still feel it violates the DYKFICTION policy. The game could add any sort of vehicle they want with no regard to the constraints of reality. I'll welcome second opinions though. Bremps... 01:01, 3 December 2023 (UTC)Reply
I don't know if it violates house style and guidelines, but User:Captain Galaxy should consider coming up with more hooks to choose from in the event that we need them. Viriditas (talk) 21:50, 5 December 2023 (UTC)Reply
Will do although I am a bit busy at the moment so you can expect them by the end of next week. CaptainGalaxy 00:12, 6 December 2023 (UTC)Reply
Not seeing a review of the article, so I'm doing one. New enough, long enough. No neutrality problems found, no copyright problems found, no maintenance templates found. You do need a different hook, so I'm suggesting

Spotcheck

edit

I will check these sources (I'll update the numbers if you add or remove any (Numbers last updated based on (this revision)):

  • 1 Says that the game had "11" courses, not 13; I think you confused the obstacle count which is 13. I also don't see where turbo pads are mentioned.
Done I changed the number but left the turbo pad part as is as the source does mention place-able "turbo boosts", but I changed it to pads to sounds more grammatically correct.
  • 2 Being able to acheive a high score is not cited. This also says that manual steering was added to every level, so it's redundant to say "if the level allows it".
Done I've backed up the high score part with another source and removed the latter quote.
  • 3 Good.
  • 4 Good.
  • 5 Good.
  • 8 Good.
  • 9 Good.
  • 10 Good.
  • 12 The quote calling the game "a bit shallow" is not cited. Also, I believe scores in infoboxes should be notated how the source notates it, so it should be 80/100 and not 4/5.
Done I cited the quote to a source and changed the score to be closer to the article. CaptainGalaxy 00:53, 5 October 2025 (UTC)Reply
  • 17 I've missed in the video where the game's success was attributed to it's frequent updates. Can you put a timestamp in the citation?
 Done Time code provided.
  • 18 I don't see where the game specifically released in early access on January 10th.
Done Seems the Early Access did release on January 10 according to the game's dev log on Steam, however, since I wanted to keep with the secondary source, I removed the 10 part.
  • 19 The game fully releasing on May 21st is not sourced.
Done Weirdly, I couldn't find a single secondary source that listed the release date so I had to use the developer's log on Steam.
  • 21 I don't know if this is reliable.
  • As stated by WT:VG/S, Content when owned by pro-gmedia (2004–2017) generally considered reliable., so this should be fine.
  • 22 Good.
  • 23 Does not solve citation 17's problem.
  • This citation was meant to back up the claim each update adding at least a new vehicle, cosmetic or level up to the stated time period.
  • 24 The 2016 update is not sourced.
  • It is, source 24 contains two separate articles, one from 2014 and one from 2016.
  • 25 The source was posted in March, which I don't believe is considered Summer.
 Done Fixed.
  • 26 Good.
  • 27 Good.
  • 29 The quote is incorrect (fans of slapstick antics from The Three Stooges, not fans of The Three Stooges's slapstick antics).
 Done Fixed.
  • 30 WP:VGRS says Steam Spy should "never be used directly to support sales numbers" unless supported by a third-party source.
Done Source has been replaced with Sensor Tower information.
I'm unaware of how reliable Sensor Tower is, but I trust that you know what you're doing. Tarlby (t) (c) 18:00, 9 October 2025 (UTC)Reply
  • 33 Looks like a fine use of a primary source.

@Tarlby: I have gone through and applied your requested changes where possible. I hope all is good and thank you once again for doing this. CaptainGalaxy 01:09, 6 October 2025 (UTC)Reply
