Split proposal
editThis page is hitting Wikipedia:Post-expand include size. Due to this the navboxes at the bottom of the page no longer show up. Thus, as per WP:SIZESPLIT, I propose that this article be split into List of individuals nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize (1900–1999) and List of individuals nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize (2000–present). - Alternatively it could be split at 1970 which is when the most recent Nobel nominees were declassified. Every nominee since 1971 is sourced to various media reports, which may or may not be true, and in many cases incomplete. —CX Zoom[he/him] (let's talk • {C•X}) 08:43, 14 March 2025 (UTC)
- Splitting the article by centuries would be more suitable. That I have done to resolve the issue. Also, the Nobel nominees declassified already includes the 1975 nominees. Though the Nobel Nomination Archives has not been updated for three years now, the Norwegian National Archives, which has access to the Committee's records, have revealed them and even in the coming years. The Nobel Nomination Archives too fails to include the exact list of nominees recorded in a year since the award's inception in comparison to the Norwegian National Archives which has all the detailed record of nominations. - List of individuals nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize (1950–1999) (~270 kB)
