Parkinson's disease (PD)

edit

I heard in a lecture on PD that examiniation of Hitler's handwriting indicated the progression of micrographia which is a symptom of PD. I don't have a specific reference, but if someone confirms that maybe they can add it to main article. AdderUser 19:58, 18 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

I'd say there was plenty of reliable sources for this.
See article HERE with several references.
(I know we can't use either if the linked articles but their references can be). Lukewarmbeer (talk) 18:03, 19 May 2023 (UTC)Reply
Unless I'm misunderstanding, it looks as if that specific article has not been cited by other articles, so, no, it wouldn't be considered a RS, I don't think. Further, a quick look seems to indicate that the references provided are cited primarily by each other, indicating, perhaps, a walled garden. (Corrections requested.) Frankly, I think it's still an open question whether Hitler had Parkinson's or not. Certainly there was significant palsy by the end, it's obvious in the footage of him greeting Hitler Youth members in the bunker's garden, but my understanding is that such a palsy could have multiple explanations. Syphilis

edit

We get a lot of juicy rumors sourced from Kersten, but no mention of Morell's negative Wassermann test. Strange. 2A02:AA1:1025:9D11:E8AD:DC7B:185E:58AD (talk) 09:49, 4 August 2023 (UTC)Reply

I think it's an open question how much Morell can be trusted as a source. Beyond My Ken (talk) 13:19, 4 August 2023 (UTC)Reply

Morrell vs. Morell

edit

Throughout the page both spellings appear. I believe Morell is the correct one, shouldn't it be normalized to only appear this way? 66.219.235.103 (talk) 00:09, 22 May 2025 (UTC)Reply

Date of last public appearance in the article is wrong

edit

Article states Hitler's last public appearance was in March 1945, this is not correct, he last appeared in public on the 20th April 1945, which was also his birthday. ~2026-17902-50 (talk) 18:00, 22 March 2026 (UTC)Reply

This is a common error which is corrected by the cited source. UpdateNerd (talk) 22:37, 22 March 2026 (UTC)Reply
