I Knew You Were Trouble

edit

The "Career beginnings" section states: "She became known for a parody of Taylor Swift's song "I Knew You Were Trouble", inspired by Swift's relationship with Harry Styles." However, Swift was dating Styles at the time of the song's release. The song is most likely about Swift's toxic relationship with John Mayer.

Can we please add a paragraph about About-Face, the make up company Halsey started? Elazar329 (talk) 02:43, 27 March 2026 (UTC)Reply

Not done: it's not clear what changes you want made. Please detail the specific changes in a "change X to Y" format and provide a reliable source if appropriate. Umby 🌕🐶 (talk) 03:22, 27 March 2026 (UTC)Reply
Also, as an editor with a conflict of interest, you should make a conflict of interest edit request instead. Umby 🌕🐶 (talk) 03:25, 27 March 2026 (UTC)Reply
The potential references listed in the previous request are all highly promotional. If better references are not available, it seems doubtful if any mention is WP:DUE or encyclopedic. --Hipal (talk) 17:16, 27 March 2026 (UTC)Reply

OTHER ARTISTIC VENTURES

Halsey has always used several mediums to express her artistry. She grew up heavily involved in painting, poetry, and other forms of visual and digital expression.

Painter

Painting was one of Halsey's childhood and adolescent artistic passions. Today, the artist incorporates painting into their artistic identity as a form of performance art, activism, and personal expression. Starting with a 2019 Saturday Night Live performance, they have used live painting to promote reproductive rights, auctioning works for charity and challenging stigmas around postpartum bodies. Digital Art

Known as an OG "Tumblr girlie," Halsey uses the platform for poetry, art, and personal musings since before she began releasing music. Halsey has returned to the platform throughout her career to express new creative ideas. Recently, Tumblr celebrated their 19th anniversary and did not pay homage to Halsey's dedication to the platform. Makeup Artist

Halsey founded about-face beauty, a high-performance makeup brand, which launched in January 2021. Halsey is a self-taught makeup artist, who does her own makeup before every performance and appearance. Halsey's own on-stage makeup looks evolve with mood and musical or character journey. They created the brand and designed the products to meet make-up users and fans at every stage of life and self-expression - whether they are a makeup experts or beginners. The award-winning beauty brand is known for high-impact looks featuring bold uses of color and glitter. The products are long-wear, made to last through Halsey's on-stage performances. Poet

They debuted an autobiographical collection of poetry in 2020 exploring the complexities of mental illness, tumultuous relationships, sexuality, and fame. The book, titled 'I Would Leave Me If I Could' allowed Halsey to explore deeply personal stories which they felt were too raw to explore in their music.  Not done for now: please establish a consensus for this alteration before posting an edit request. To me, the overall tone of these inclusions seem overly promotional and not encyclopedic (especially the "Makeup artist" section, just like the previous request).
