Information here vs Eichmann article

edit

Hello all. If you compare this article to the trial section of Eichmann's own page, you'll notice that the latter one is, well, better. There's a bit less legalese and legal specifics, but it does a much better job telling the actual story of the trial. Consequentially, I think it might be best to either fold this information into the Eichmann article, or (the better option IMO), make this article a lot more detailed. Any other thoughts on this? I know it's been some time since the last post, but I feel like there's significant overlap between Adolf Eichmann#Trial in Jerusalem and the Hebrew Wikipedia page for the Eichmann trial. I do not believe such a merger is necessary, especially now that I have translated much of the aforementioned content from the Hebrew Wikipedia and added it into the English article. I have submitted this article for good article nomination. Please let me know if there are any issues that need to be addressed here. G o m m e h 20:53, 12 March 2025 (UTC)Reply

Under Implementation: While held prisoner, [Eichmann] wrote a declaration that he voluntarily joined Israel and that he was willing to stand trial there. "Joined Israel" seems a rather strange choice of words - has this been (mis)translated from another language? Muzilon (talk) 09:21, 25 July 2025 (UTC)Reply

This is a quickfail review, as the article is a long way from meeting GA criterion 2. The biggest issue is that large parts of the article, including most of the crucial "Trial" section, have no inline citations. Unreliable sources are also used, such as this blog. Please consider renominating for GA after fixing the issues. ~~ AirshipJungleman29 (talk) 22:17, 12 March 2025 (UTC)Reply

Peer review

edit

I've listed this article for peer review because I would like to know if there are any issues with the sources I have cited or if there should be any additional content covered in the article. I'd also like any constructive criticism you can give me in regards to whether or not the article meets the good article criteria. I'm interested in the whole article, but would appreciate extra input on the criticism and reaction sections.

The Implementation section says Eichmann was "drunk" when he boarded the plane from Argentina to Israel. The Adolf Eichmann article says he was sedated by a Mossad doctor. Which is correct? Muzilon (talk) 11:36, 6 April 2025 (UTC)Reply
Sorry for the late reply. I would say "sedated" is better in this scenario, as "drunk" makes it sound like he was some sort of alcoholic. Gommeh ➡️ Talk to me 01:22, 19 May 2025 (UTC)Reply

"Preventing births against Jews"

edit

One of the charges listed is "Preventing births against Jews". Shouldn't this be "Preventing births BY Jews"? ~2025-42824-67 (talk) 01:56, 3 January 2026 (UTC)Reply
