  • Comment: Several notes for whichever saint takes on the review of this six-article meganom. I am submitting this for the 9 August special set for the International Day of the World's Indigenous Peoples. Only 7 QPQs are required, regardless of what the form says; per WP:DYKUBM, when it is backlog mode one extra QPQ is required for each nomination, not one extra one per article. The hook length for these is over 200 on paper, but per WP:DYK200, the text in boldlinks after the first one does not count toward the 200-character limit. Finally, I had been working on a Jonas Allooloo biography in my sandbox until I discovered to my pleasure a couple days ago that Deborah.artemis had created one on 19 May. My intention had been to create Allooloo's article in mainspace along with the rest of these to facilitate a DYK multinom. I immediately began finishing the rest of the articles. While I know we are outside of the DYK 7-day window for the Allooloo article, we are within the window when I discovered it had been created, and Deborah.artemis has never submitted at DYK before, so on their behalf I would ask for a dispensation on the 7-day window to allow Allooloo's article to appear with the rest of these. All other articles were either created, moved to mainspace or expanded 5x on the day of the nomination. Thank you in advance for reviewing this!

I'll start with the QPQs. You've actually provided eight; Scattergood is a double nom and counts as two. (There's a reason I snap up multinoms.) The last two I think were quickfailed without pinging, which I think is unreasonable; Blood and Bone closed anyway, so I'll take it. Four of the articles are new creations and Atagotaaluk was a 5x expansion. Allooloo... hmm. That article was actually written more than three weeks ago, but would probably pass at GA (having just done some spotchecks and some minor copyediting, I only wouldn't pass it right now because it needs a fair use image). I'll take it if one is added; ping me if you nominate. No problems with Nashak and Earwig is clean on both; will do the rest another time.--Launchballer 13:19, 11 June 2026 (UTC)
