Not a full review, but a second QPQ is needed before this can proceed. Dclemens1971 (talk) 17:45, 9 June 2026 (UTC)
Per WP:DYKQPQ, Your QPQ review should be made before or at the time of your nomination. A nomination that does not include the required number of submitted QPQs may be closed within 24 hours.
More than 24 hours after a note was left noting the need for a second QPQ, this nomination does not have a sufficient number of QPQs. Considering the backlog of nominations, this one is thus marked for closure. Dclemens1971 (talk) 20:14, 10 June 2026 (UTC)
- But I do think that @Piotrus: should be pinged on the off-chance he hasn't seen this. Will close this in 24 hours if one isn't provided by then.--Launchballer 01:01, 11 June 2026 (UTC)
- @Dclemens1971 and Launchballer: Thanks, I haven't seen this - how could I? I received no best practice talk page message or ping (until Launchballer's). Sigh. I will do a second QPQ soon. PS. Piotrus Sorry, lack of ping was inadvertent. Glad to see the QPQ added. (I suggest setting up watchlist notifications for comments on DYK noms.) Review follows: New enough and long enough. Article is presentable, although I'd recommend a longer lead the summarizes more of the article text, and employs reliable sources. Earwig tool detects only quotations. Hook is interesting, reliably sourced, and in the article with a citation. As an option for the promoter I would offer a shorter alt that does not introduce any new facts: ALT0a: ... that a 19th-century English poem has been interpreted as the poet's expression of his "fury against Russia"? Thanks! Dclemens1971 (talk) 14:07, 11 June 2026 (UTC)
