Thank you for the ping. I have added a licence which may fit requirement, but it needs to be double-checked by someone else, to make sure. I know that it would be fine if I used that licence on my own created images, but I'm not sure whether I have the right to put it on someone else's work without their permission. That's why it needs to be checked . Storye book (talk) 08:51, 29 June 2026 (UTC)Reply
I know Chris as an image person: could you perhaps take a look into the licensing of a symbol use for writing sheet music? --Gerda Arendt (talk) 12:42, 29 June 2026 (UTC)Reply
  • Under our policies, a self release into the PD would have been sufficient in the United States. That being said, the symbol itself is far below the TOO for... basically any country on earth. I've replaced the templates with {{PD-simple}}, which applies universally.  Chris Woodrich (talk) 12:51, 29 June 2026 (UTC)Reply

@Gerda Arendt and @Storye book We are fine to proceed; I am just awaiting clarification on the image before moving forward. Best, MSincccc (talk) 11:47, 29 June 2026 (UTC)Reply
@Gerda Arendt and @Storye book Thanks for your patience. The image is fine from a licensing perspective, so we will proceed. Best, MSincccc (talk) 04:44, 30 June 2026 (UTC)Reply
