Thumbnail fake?

Is the apparent photo of the cover-page or title-page of the pamphlet a genuine photo of a real document? It looks somewhat fake/photoshopped to me, possibly? Also, Britannica says that the pamphlet was originally published anonymously, whereas this thumbnail has Swift's name on it..!? ahope (talk) 11:36, 28 September 2025 (UTC)Reply

Well spotted. I don't know if it's real (the online source no longer exists) but it's definitely not the 1729 first edition, as stated. The font and layout suggest it's a very much later reprint. I'm replacing the image with a much more likely London early printing. MichaelMaggs (talk) 12:46, 28 September 2025 (UTC)Reply
