Asja Kadrić
editBiography
editSinger and composer Asja Kadrić (ˈaʃ.ja ˈkad.rit͡ɕ) completed her studies in Music Pedagogy at the University of Belgrade. Since 2010, she has been regularly teaching music at a school for children with disabilities in Belgrade. Since 2012, she has contributed to the production of film trailers, fantasy soundtracks, and video games, serving as both a session singer and a composer. Asja possesses a vocal range that spans from D3, characterized by a dark yet warm and soothing timbre, to a powerful middle range featuring a rich chest voice suitable for pop music. She employs the White Voice technique for an ethno style and exhibits a breathy quality for an ethereal “fantasy” sound, enhanced by a gentle vibrato at the end of syllables, reaching up to C6 with a brilliant, clear, and radiant “angelic” tone. Asja is perhaps best known for her song “Fear Not This Night,” which is featured in the soundtrack of the popular computer game “Guild Wars.” Additionally, she performed several tracks on the albums “Vanquish” and “Myth,” co-composed with Nick Phoenix of “Two Steps from Hell,” and collaborated on the trailer for the horror film “The Conjuring.” She was also a member of the inaugural cast of The World of Hans Zimmer from 2018 to 2020, where she participated as a soloist in over 60 performances. In 2025-2026, she contributed her vocal talents to the music creation for the Diablo IV - Lord of Hatred expansion pack.
