Wow, there are some problems here. There is a link here from .256 Mannlicher which is incorrect. That is the 6.5x53R cartridge, not 6.5x54. Prior to 1903, the only 6.5 Mannlicher was the rimmed version. Yes, Bell used the 6.5x53R.

editThere was a 6,5 x 54 Mauser cartridge for the 98 Mauser short action. It is not the same cartridge as the 6,5 x 54 MS, as in not interchangeable. Jochum (talk) 13:55, 27 June 2025 (UTC)
