new article on the Nederlands Douane Orkest (Dutch Customs Orchestra)

edit

Hello all, Yesterday I (manually) translated the German Wiki into an English one. The Dutch version seemed a bit too specific for The Netherlands. I would like to invite everyone to improve and edit and if appropriate move the article from the DRAFT space to the real Wikipedia. I don't think I can do that, being a rather irregular contributor. Thanks in advance! K-filter (talk) 10:06, 9 March 2026 (UTC)Reply

Dutch proof of Date of Birth

edit

Hello, I wrote and maintained the page for dutch actress Vivian Panka, and was wondering if there is a way to access the birth registry/announcement of the Netherlands to use as proof of birthday (as can be done for UK people), or is that not possible? Thank you! Artemis-red97 (talk) 11:54, 28 April 2026 (UTC)Reply

I had never heard of this person, and I could find almost no information about her on Dutch websites. It seems that, however she might have been born in the Netherlands, she only became known abroad. So unfortunately I cannot give you any information about her birth date. Erik Wannee (talk) 10:19, 10 May 2026 (UTC)Reply

If there are any Dutch readers who could help translate the historical entries here for this obscure jurist, I would be grateful. AleatoryPonderings (talk) 14:28, 3 May 2026 (UTC)Reply

@Bart C. J. M. Fauser: Please don't waste our time with LLM-generated drafts (based on what I assume is a hallucinated second reference) and LLM-generated talk page messages. Even setting those aside, the draft and your message above does not show how it meets our notability guideline for academics. Ed [talk] [OMT] 04:56, 9 May 2026 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Atlantic Huis

edit
Notice

The article Atlantic Huis has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Unreferenced for 15 years. No other language has a reliably sourced article from which to translate. Unsourced stub, without a clear assertion of notability, about a mixed-use building.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion based on established criteria.

If the proposed deletion has already been carried out, you may request undeletion of the article at any time. Bearian (talk) 16:15, 21 May 2026 (UTC)Reply
