Proposed deletion of Kolsimcha - The World Quintet
edit
A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Kolsimcha - The World Quintet, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process because of the following concern:
- Non-notable band; no sources or assertions of actual notability
All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because, even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. - Hello Dafootballguy, thank you for taking the effort to review my article and leave feedback, which I read with great interest.
- However, i must say that I don't fully understand your argumentation. Of course it is possible that this Orchestra is not significant enough to be listed on Wikipedia. Although I think the orchestra and the article are quite comparable to the Rotterdam Marine Band of the Royal Netherlands Navy. Both are uniformed orchestras of a Dutch Government Agencies, the Navy Band of the Defense Departement and the Customs Orchestra of the financial law enforcement branch of the Ministry of Finance (Netherlands).
- Both are professional orchestras that represent their organisations in uniform, both perform mainly within The Netherlands and occasionally abroad. Last year the Customs Orchestra performed double concerts with the German Army Band Veitshöchheim and at the Innsbruck Promenade Festival in Austria. I oriented my article very much on the one of the Marines Band, so I wonder where the main difference in significance would lie.
- What I really don't understand is why you would find the sources unreliable. IS it because they are mainly in Dutch?
- Because all the sources that I mentioned are independent newspapers, the international Music Recordings Website Dicogs and the official information website of the Dutch Customs Agency.
- Hope to Hera from you soon,
- Friendly Regards,

- @K-filter the sources don't meet the requirements for an article. Happy editing. In solidarity Dafootballguy Want to talk? 20:21, 12 June 2026 (UTC)
- I understood that this is your judgement bit could you elaborate? I did explain that as far as I understand the sources do meet the requirements in terms of independence and objectivity. I Would like to edit the article in a way that you would find it too but in order to di that I would like some more specifics. Thank you in advance K-filter (talk) 10:52, 13 June 2026 (UTC)
