Welcome to the Middle Eastern military history task force. If you have any questions about articles or are generally seeking advice, you're encouraged to ask at the main military history talk page, or you can directly approach one of the task force participants below.

The coordinators of the Military history WikiProject can be contacted here.

Scope

This task force covers the entire military history of the broad region known as the Middle East, from the earliest civilizations in the area (e.g. the Mesopotamian and ancient Egyptian) to the present day. It includes the military histories of all Middle Eastern groups and states, as well as military activity in the Middle East by external powers.

Any article related to this task force should be marked by adding Middle-Eastern-task-force=yes or Middle-Eastern=y to the {{WPMILHIST}} project banner at the top of its talk page (see the project banner instructions for more details on the exact syntax). This will automatically place it into Category:Middle Eastern military history task force articles.

  5. The Gnome (talk · contribs) (The topic is about the single most significant destabilising factor of world peace today. Wikipedia can contribute, admittedly in a small capacity, towards somehow resolving the conflict by presenting the convergence of input from people interested on the subject. The task of handling it in a NPOV-way necessarily brings everyone's POV into focus. I could bring to this task a rather extensive knowledge on the history of the region and the conflict, and as much objectivity as I can. (The latter is, of course, a subjective statement.) If I could just make the time.)
