Alternatively, GOCE copy edits can be noted in the {{Article history}} banner. This may be appropriate if the article has undergone multiple GOCE copy edits or the page is particularly crowded with banners (see banner blindness and this Signpost article). Use the parameters as below, adjusting the action# so that the copy edit fits chronologically with other article history events. The result field must be copyedited to generate GOCE links. The oldid can be obtained from the article's history page and will identify the copy editor. If the oldid is not supplied, a bot will estimate the oldid based on the date parameter.

If you find an article that cannot be copy edited because multiple problems render the article unworkable until the other issues have been resolved, you may add the template {{GOCEreviewed}} to the article's talk page. See the template's documentation for details on its use.

A member of the Guild of Copy Editors reviewed a version of this article for copy editing. However, a major copy edit was inappropriate at that time because of the other tags now found on this article. You can request updates about seemingly abandoned copy-edit requests by placing {{subst:GOCE-ab}} on the respondent's talk page no earlier than seven days after their last edit to the article:

Hi WikiProject Guild of Copy Editors, you accepted a request made at the GOCE Requests page to copy-edit the article Example. Your last edit to the article was at 18:00, November 18 2013 (UTC) and you haven't yet declared the copy-edit done on the Requests page. Please tell us whether the copy-edit is completed—or whether you intend to complete it—so the request can be archived, left alone or returned to the list for someone else to work on. If no update is received and you make no further edits to the article in seven days a GOCE coordinator will strike your acceptance and return the request to the list. Thank you. If a respondent has made no edits to an article s/he accepted a copy-edit request for, you can use {{subst:GOCE-ab-noedits}} no earlier than seven days after the acceptance.

Hi WikiProject Guild of Copy Editors, on 1 April 2014 at 12:00 (UTC) you accepted a request made at the GOCE Requests page to copy-edit the article Example. You have not yet begun editing the article.‎ Please tell us whether you intend to copy-edit the article so the request can be left alone or returned to the list for someone else to work on. Page creation templates

The following templates are used to create pages for our regular, bi-monthly Drives and Blitzes. Carefully read the instructions for including variables like the start and end dates, coordinators' names, and themes and targets. Variables and wikilinks in the "Signing up" sections must be manually inserted. These templates must be substituted (copied to the page you're creating); type subst: after the first pair of curly brackets before the template name. If you don't substitute these templates, you won't be able to edit the Drive or Blitz page.

Use {{GOCE-new-blitz-page}} to populate new GOCE Copy Edit Project Blitz pages.

Use {{GOCE-new-drive-page}} to populate new GOCE Backlog elimination drive pages.

Place {{WikiProject Guild of Copy Editors Annual Reports}} at the bottom of Annual Reports pages and add that year's report to the template.
