Checking with the edit filter managers to see if changes need to be made. Ignoring the private filter part of this it seems to be working normally. 1233 is designed to catch Long string of characters with no punctuation or markup, and things like 44618742 are indeed what the filter is trying to catch. Except that it's not a "long string of characters containing no punctuation or markup"... it's a message written in Spanish. The filter should only be looking for and catching long strings of random characters containing no punctuation or markup (i.e. gibberish). Good-faith but non-English text != gibberish. ...Which is not a good thing. If we want to have a filter to detect run-on sentences, that should be a separate filter and should be warn-only. Description
Per their edit summaries, ~2026-40606-94 has been "replacing manual Korean romanizations with Infobox Korean/auto which generates semi-automatic Korean romanizations". All the edits are triggering a private "LTA tracking" edit filter. This may have contributed to them getting mistakenly reported at WP:AIV.
