- I think J947 is raising an interesting objection in the discussion above. I'd like to see if we can talk through it a bit; it might be that consensus is still clearly in favor of this, but it hasn't been that long and no one has really engaged with it. — The Earwig (talk) 01:54, 5 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]
- Hello friends. It's been a couple weeks and it looks like the situation hasn't changed. Wikipedia talk:New pages patrol/Reviewers#reviewing by bot all redirects that are bolded in the lead of the target article has a pretty strong consensus for this bot task, with many participants and only one objection. Can this bot task proceed? Thanks. –Novem Linguae (talk) 06:53, 19 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]
- I've just seen that (not sure how I missed it before), and I agree with the objection (and have noted such on the linked page). Thryduulf (talk) 10:43, 19 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]

- I am withdrawing this request. Several users have presented reasonable arguments explaining why this should be automated, and I acknowledge that I overlooked some points. I thank Novem and all those who participated in the discussion for sharing their views. – DreamRimmer ■ 15:26, 14 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]
