Your submission at Articles for creation: Eliot K-8 Innovation School (February 24)

edit
Your recent article submission to Articles for Creation has been reviewed. Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reasons left by Absurdum4242 were:
This draft's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article. In summary, the draft needs multiple published sources that are:
Make sure you add references that meet these criteria before resubmitting. Learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue. If no additional references exist, the subject is not suitable for Wikipedia.
This submission does not appear to be written in the formal tone expected of an encyclopedia article. Entries should be written from a neutral point of view, and should refer to a range of independent, reliable, published sources. Please rewrite your submission in a more encyclopedic format. Please make sure to avoid peacock terms that promote the subject.
 The comment the reviewer left was:
Good job on the article so far, however, it’s not there yet. It still has a puff-piece advertisement tone, rather than being written in a neutral Encyclopedic tone. It also contains numerous details not best suited for a Wikipedia article, such as the administration section. As well, there is still the issue of notability raised by other reviewers. Notability requires 2-3 sources which are reliable, independent, secondary sources, which talk at length about the topic of the article. Unfortunately the sources you have so far aren’t quite there. The Boston gov articles, and Raj Das articles aren’t independent, the statistics articles aren’t secondary, and the news articles mostly talk around the school itself, or have been cherry picked for the article. Try finding more independent news sources talking about the school, and then use the information in them (ALL of the information in them) to write a more neutrally framed article. If you do this, it will give you a much better chance of the article eventually being approved. Good luck and keep up the hard work 👍
Please check the submission for any additional comments left by the reviewer. You are encouraged to edit the submission to address the issues raised and resubmit it after they have been resolved.

Your submission at Articles for creation: Eliot K-8 Innovation School (February 24)

edit
Your recent article submission to Articles for Creation has been reviewed. Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reason left by Theroadislong was:
This submission appears to read more like an advertisement than an entry in an encyclopedia. Encyclopedia articles need to be written from a neutral point of view, and should refer to a range of independent, reliable, published sources, not just to materials produced by the creator of the subject being discussed. This is important so that the article can meet Wikipedia's verifiability policy and the notability of the subject can be established. If you still feel that this subject is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia, please rewrite your submission to comply with these policies.
 The comment the reviewer left was:
Breakfast and lunch times and bus services offered have no place in an encyclopaedia article.
Please check the submission for any additional comments left by the reviewer. You are encouraged to edit the submission to address the issues raised and resubmit it after they have been resolved.

Hi there

It's great that you love contributing to Wikipedia. However, please consider reading the Manual of Style before doing it further. Don't capitalize random words unless there's a reason to (it might help to look at MOS:PEOPLETITLES). I also see you recently added a citation with the title in all caps — that's a big thing to avoid. If you need help, just ask. Thanks. — An anonymous username, not my real name 22:31, 5 March 2026 (UTC)Reply

Sorry, I do have a bad habit of accidentally pressing shift for too long for a word.(or i accidentally clicked caps lock) I will try to improve. Welovecontributors! (talk) 22:49, 5 March 2026 (UTC)Reply

Whack!

You've been whacked with a wet trout.

Don't take this too seriously. Someone just wants to let you know that you did something silly.

You have been trouted for: replacing a big part of the test with a entirely new part, which ruined the test! I reverted it! Come on dude! You can add a question but not rewrite the whole test because most people won't like it, including me! I'm a nice and great person in Wikipedia, but next time, please make smaller changes! Draft declined
Thank you for contributing to Wikipedia. Your draft submission to Articles for creation has been reviewed but not accepted at this time.
Feedback
The reviewer, Timtrent, left the following feedback:
This draft's references do not show that the subject meets Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion for schools. The draft requires multiple published secondary sources that:
  • provide significant coverage: discuss the subject in detail, excluding routine coverage like sports results, league tables, government inspection reports, and listings in databases or listicles;
  • are reliable: from reputable outlets with editorial oversight;
  • are independent: not connected to the subject, such as press releases, the subject's own website, or sponsored content.

Please add references that meet all three of these criteria. If none exist, the subject is not yet suitable for Wikipedia.

Individual faculties, departments, and student clubs are rarely notable on their own. You could add this content to the main educational institution article if one exists instead.
Schools are not inherently notable, nor does the whipping of a student make it so. Student were whipped in that era. Longevity does not make it notable. Please concentrate on what, if anything, makes it notable, and do a radical précis of the rest.

Next steps

  • Edit Draft:Eliot K-8 Innovation School to address the points above, making sure to publish any changes.

The reviewer, .nhals8, left the following feedback:
This draft's references do not show that the event meets Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion for events. The draft requires multiple published secondary sources that:
  • provide significant coverage: discuss the event in detail, not just brief mentions or routine announcements;
  • show lasting significance: analysis published after the initial breaking news has passed, showing historical impact;
  • are reliable: from reputable outlets with editorial oversight;
  • are independent: not connected to the event, such as press releases, the event or organizers own website, or sponsored content.
Please add references that meet all four of these criteria. If none exist, the subject is not yet suitable for Wikipedia.

Only one of the links lead to an actual 404 page, with the majority just being homepage urls (e.g. "stuff.co.nz") rather than full urls, so it was easy to click on one and AGF that you were redirected. It wasn't until I manually searched for the article titles on each site (and the book title on the publisher's website) that I realised things were awry, but I was all set to mark it as reviewed up to that point 😩

Rollback granted

edit

Hi Welovecontributors!. After reviewing your request, I have enabled rollback on your account. Please keep the following things in mind while using rollback:

  • Being granted rollback is no more momentous than installing Twinkle or Ultraviolet. It just adds a [rollback] button next to a page's latest live revision. It does not grant you any additional "status" on Wikipedia, nor does it change how Wikipedia policies apply to you.
  • Rollback should be used to revert clear and unambiguous cases of vandalism only. Never use rollback to revert good faith edits. For more information about when rollback is appropriate, see Wikipedia:Rollback § When to use rollback.
  • Rollback should never be used to edit war, and it should never be used in a content-related dispute to restore the page to your preferred revision. If rollback is abused or used for this purpose or any other inappropriate purpose, the permission will be revoked.
  • Use common sense. If you're not sure about something, ask!

I'm sure you'll do great with rollback, and feel free to leave me a message on my talk page if you run into trouble or have any questions about appropriate use of rollback. If you no longer want rollback, contact me and I'll remove it. For information on rollback, see Wikipedia:Administrators' guide/Rollback (even though you're not an admin) and Wikipedia:Rollback.
