Information icon Hi Vorkosicat27! I noticed that you recently marked an edit as minor at Boots theory that may not have been. "Minor edit" has a specific definition on Wikipedia—it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typo corrections or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not a minor edit, even if it only concerns a single word. Thank you. TompaDompa (talk) 09:13, 16 August 2024 (UTC)Reply

Your recent article submission to Articles for Creation has been reviewed. Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reasons left by MCE89 were:

Information icon Hello, I'm Tacyarg. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Noel Streatfeild, but you didn't provide a reliable source. On Wikipedia, it's important that article content be verifiable. If you'd like to resubmit your change with a citation, your edit is archived in the page history. If you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Please don't add your own analysis. Tacyarg (talk) 15:20, 31 January 2026 (UTC)Reply

Dear Tacy,
I drew on reliable sources and will continue working to improve this page.
However I am unclear why you have reverted the page rather than deleted the offending section. This is unhelpful as it is not clear what you regard as opinion, in a lengthy factual edit. Vorkosicat27 (talk) 16:45, 31 January 2026 (UTC)Reply
Hi, thanks for your reply above and your message on my Talk page. Looking at the series of edits I reverted, you had added some unsourced material which looked like your own commentary, and some statements referenced to reading19001950.wordpress.com and www.whitegauntlet.com.au. I think you're probably right about the former being an RS; I reverted it on the grounds of it being a blog (see WP:BLOGS), but I think it's covered under the subject-matter expert exception described in the blog guidance. My apologies. I'll put it back in. The other I don't think is an RS, but you're welcome to ask for other opinions on the article's Talk page. Tacyarg (talk) 21:34, 31 January 2026 (UTC)Reply
