AfC notification: Draft:Characters of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom has a new comment
edit
- Thank you for looking! Yeah, I tried getting a discussion going in the talk section but no one replied after several days, so I just decided to do the split myself. I might ask for help making this page live if that's alright, this will actually be my first page I've created. ThePoggingEditor (talk) 13:48, 19 August 2025 (UTC)

Majora's Mask
editAre you interested in working on this? Cukie Gherkin (talk) 17:53, 21 August 2025 (UTC)
- I was wondering about whether or not MM should have its own page or not, mostly bc I'm not sure MM had the same cultural impact as OOT. The characters I was gonna add to the main Zelda characters list were Tatl, Tael, the Four Giants, Majora's Mask, Mikau, and Darmani III. I planned on making a note in Malon's section about her Terminian counterparts being Romani and Cremia and give their synopses there, and I was gonna move Skull Kid and HMS from OOT to the main page since they're not terribly relevant in that game.
- I also had plans to reorganize that page from grouping by game to grouping by role (Main Characters, Companions, Antagonists, and Other characters). I made the BotW and TotK character list page bc I feel like there were enough characters on their own to justify their page (and it seems to be becoming a sub-series of sorts), and OoT could be argued to have enough relevant characters within its plot to justify its page.
- If you think MM has enough relevant characters though, I'll certainly work on the page with you. ThePoggingEditor (talk) 18:10, 21 August 2025 (UTC)
- That would be appreciated. I don't really have the energy to write it up, but I just wanted to get the sources needed. I'm also going to grab some scholarly sources to beef it up more. Ideally, I'd like to make articles for Wind Waker characters, Twilight Princess characters, and Skyward Sword characters too. I think all three have potential as well. Cukie Gherkin (talk) 20:22, 21 August 2025 (UTC)
- Yeah, sources are definitely helpful. I'm actually going to clean up OoT's character page first before I work on this. I think that will help me with making MM's character page, which I'm still not entirely sure about, but I can write up a plan to see which Zelda games deserve their own characters page. Re: your change of mind on Talk:6-7 (meme)
editHi ThePoggingEditor, thanks for your comments on the move request here! Just so you know, if you want to make it clear that previous comments that you've made in a discussion should no longer be considered, you can strike those comments. To do this, you can use the {{strikethrough}} template, like this: {{strikethrough|Your text here}} → Your text here, or you can wrap your comments in <s></s> HTML tags, like this: <s>Your text here</s>. This will make it clearer that you've changed your mind on something, and your struck comments generally won't be considered in the building of consensus. editAt one time that was the case, but it got split off due to consensus because the end result was trying to basically WP:COATRACK non-notable parts to a notable one, especially since the X series has different reception and development. Similar happened with EXE as well. Kung Fu Man (talk) 08:38, 17 May 2026 (UTC)
