Hello. I noticed you asked a question the Construction of One World Trade Center page. Please ask any questions on the talk page of this article. Please do not insert questions in articles. Thank you. Alxeedo TALK 05:23, 28 January 2012 (UTC)

Please do not add or change content, as you did at Graham Ovenden, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Theroadislong (talk) 18:06, 23 December 2022 (UTC)
- OK, I had not been aware of the rule concerning citing sources.
- But what I posted there is unfortunately true. Tesseract12 (talk) 22:58, 23 December 2022 (UTC)
BLP and NOTFORUM
editWikipedia talk pages are not forums to discuss personal viewpoints. Additionally, contentious claims about living persons (eg " avenging himself on the Jews"), require solid sourcing everywhere on Wikipedia. Please do not misuse Wikipedia talk pages in this way. nableezy - 17:59, 20 June 2023 (UTC)
- It is possible that I was violating a rule that I had not been aware of. But I know that everything that I said was true. I believe in the First Amendment to the U.S. Constitution. And I consider the books that Carter has written to be solid sourcing. Those books are mentioned in the article. Tesseract12 (talk) 22:20, 20 June 2023 (UTC)

Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, discussion pages are meant to be a record of a discussion; deleting or editing legitimate comments, as you did at Talk:Presidential dollar coins, is considered bad practice, even if you meant well. Even making spelling and grammatical corrections in others' comments is generally frowned upon, as it tends to irritate the users whose comments you are correcting. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Users may correct their own typos, but it is generally frowned upon to fix other people's typos on talk pages. - I had not been aware that a rule like that existed. Alright, I accept it, but my observations are:
- Only a very immature person would be "irritated" by a true correction of a misspelling.
- The act of putting back the misspelling made no rational sense. Tesseract12 (talk) 22:53, 5 November 2025 (UTC)
The act of putting back the misspelling made no rational sense.
Yes it did, because it restored what the user actually wrote. If you think talk page typos should be fixed, you can let the user know they made a typo and they can choose whether or not to fix it. But in most cases it's best to leave it alone unless said typo makes it difficult to discern what they're trying to say. - ZLEA TǀC 02:35, 6 November 2025 (UTC)
