Your submission at Articles for creation: sandbox (January 10)

edit
Your recent article submission to Articles for Creation has been reviewed! Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reasons left by Eagleash were:
This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject (see the guidelines on the notability of people). Before any resubmission, additional references meeting these criteria should be added (see technical help and learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue). If no additional references exist, the subject is not suitable for Wikipedia.
This submission is not adequately supported by reliable sources. Reliable sources are required so that information can be verified. If you need help with referencing, please see Referencing for beginners and Citing sources.
The comment the reviewer left was:
Please review the guide to article creation and the manual of style. All bolding apart from the initial mention of the subject's name should be removed for the text. Citations need to be placed inline in accordance with the guidelines at WP:REFB. Peacock wording such as "a reputable physician, renowned scholar, and an exceptionally talented professional" should be reduced to basic description.
Please check the submission for any additional comments left by the reviewer. You are encouraged to edit the submission to address the issues raised and resubmit when they have been resolved.

Information icon Hello, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. This is just a note to let you know that I've moved the draft that you were working on to Draft:Sagi Satyanarayana, from its old location at User:SagiSatya3/sandbox. This has been done because the Draft namespace is the preferred location for Articles for Creation submissions. Please feel free to continue to work on it there. If you have any questions about this, you are welcome to ask me on my talk page. Thank you. Sam Sailor 14:07, 12 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

Your submission at Articles for creation: Sagi Satyanarayana (January 12)

The comment the reviewer left was:
The first challenge here is the total lack of secondary sources: if I google Sagi Satyanarayana I find nothing reliable. Same for the other transliteration Sagi Sathyanarayana.

All "sources" now presented are primary from https://sagisatya.wixsite.com/profile - did you make that yourself? - and one Youtube video uploaded by Sagi Satyanarayana, is that you?

Looking into just some of the bare claims made here, I question if they are factual; a few examples:

  • Yale University is in New Haven, Connecticut, not in New Jersey, and I doubt they have ever had Yoga & Neurobics as part of their program
  • University of Vienna is in Austria, not as listed in the US, and I doubt they have had Yoga & Asanas as part of their program.
  • Ligs University is a non-accredited online "university" that did not exist in 2000. And he has two Ph.D.s in yoga from this place?
  • Aroma University in the USA, where is that? I can't find any university of that name past and present.
  • Barry University is in Florida, but you list it as both in the UK (entry no. 16) and in New Zealand (entries no. 22 and 33) and claim that subject received two Ph.D.s from that university both in Public Health in 2014 and 2017.

And I could go on and on.

If we take a look at some of the claims made on the sagisatya.wixsite.com pages, which all look fake, I'm sorry to say they are just as incredible, ex.:

Sorry, but I smell a hoax here, prove me wrong by providing some solid sources.

Speedy deletion nomination of Draft:Sagi Satyanarayana

edit

Please do not create hoaxes on Wikipedia, as you did at Draft:Sagi Satyanarayana. Doing so is considered to be vandalism and is prohibited. If you are interested in how accurate Wikipedia is, a more constructive test method would be to try to find inaccurate statements that are already in Wikipedia—and then to correct them if possible. If you would like to make test edits, please use the sandbox. Under section G3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, the page has been nominated for deletion. Repeated vandalism may result in the loss of editing privileges.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. This has been done under two or more of the criteria for speedy deletion, by which pages can be deleted at any time, without discussion. If the page meets any of these strictly-defined criteria, then it may soon be deleted by an administrator. The reasons it has been tagged are:

Your submission at Articles for creation: Dr. Sagi Satyanarayana (January 19)

edit
Your recent article submission to Articles for Creation has been reviewed! Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reason left by Pahunkat was:
This submission appears to read more like an advertisement than an entry in an encyclopedia. Encyclopedia articles need to be written from a neutral point of view, and should refer to a range of independent, reliable, published sources, not just to materials produced by the creator of the subject being discussed. This is important so that the article can meet Wikipedia's verifiability policy and the notability of the subject can be established. If you still feel that this subject is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia, please rewrite your submission to comply with these policies.
Please check the submission for any additional comments left by the reviewer. You are encouraged to edit the submission to address the issues raised and resubmit when they have been resolved.

Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. Please note that Wikipedia is not the place for you to post your résumé, curriculum vitae, or similar material. It is also unlikely that anyone will ever see it, and anyone can alter the info you post. Please read this policy page describing what Wikipedia is not. Your résumé or CV will soon be deleted as this constitutes advertising, which is not allowed. You may also want to read our policies on conflicts of interest and autobiographies. Thank you.
