Welcome!
editHello, Rubenstudio94, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions.
I noticed that one of the first articles you created or edited appears to be an article (or draft of an article) about yourself. Writing about yourself is a 2=common mistake made by new Wikipedians.
As this is an encyclopedia, we wouldn't expect to have an article about every contributor. We require individuals to meet Wikipedia's definition of a notable person to accept articles about them. A page you created about yourself may well be deleted from the encyclopedia. If it is deleted and you wish to retrieve its contents, don't hesitate to ask anyone from this list and they will copy it to your user page.
If your contributions to an existing article about yourself are undone and you wish to add to or change it, please propose the changes on its talk page.
Here are some pages that you might find helpful:
I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your messages on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{help me}} before the question. Again, welcome! If you intend to make useful contributions instead of promoting your business or organization, you may request unblock and a username change. In your reasons, you must follow all these steps:
- Disclose any compensation you may receive for your contributions in accordance with the paid-contribution disclosure requirement; and
- Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the kind of edits for which you were blocked; and
- Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked; and
- Provide a new username.
To do this, insert the text {{unblock-spamun|Your proposed new username|Your reason here}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your proposed new username" with your new username and replace the text "Your reason here" with your reasons to be unblocked. If you are having trouble, you may want to try using the unblock wizard.
Before requesting a new username, check if it is still available. If the search says "There is no global account for [username]", the username is free to use.
Appeals: If, after reviewing the guide to appealing blocks, you believe this block was made in error, you may appeal it by adding the text{{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your reason here" with the reasons you believe the block was an error, and publish the edit. Cullen328 (talk) 06:32, 28 May 2026 (UTC)

Request reason:
I apologize for the confusion in my previous messages. I understand that editing or creating an article about oneself presents a conflict of interest and that my username appeared promotional. I will avoid direct promotional editing going forward and would simply appreciate consideration for a username change to “RubenBaghdasaryan” so the account complies with policy. Thank you for your time. Rubenstudio94 (talk) 17:23, 28 May 2026 (UTC)
Decline reason:
This unblock request appears to have been written by a chatbot using a large language model. The purpose of unblock requests is to determine whether you, the human operating this account, understand why you were blocked – not to test a chatbot's ability to tell us what we want to hear. A message written (or rewritten) by a chatbot can also cause you to sound like you're making empty promises. It is better to write the unblock request yourself. Please read through the guide to appealing blocks for more help. voorts (talk/contributions) 01:31, 8 June 2026 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
First you said you represent Mr. Baghdasaryan, but now you say you are him. Which is it? Only one person should have access to this account. 331dot (talk) 22:13, 28 May 2026 (UTC)
- To clarify, I am the account owner and there was confusion in my wording in previous messages. I understand the conflict-of-interest concerns and will avoid promotional editing going forward. Rubenstudio94 (talk) 22:26, 28 May 2026 (UTC)
- This doesn't answer my question. Are you Mr. Baghdasaryan or not? 331dot (talk) 23:19, 28 May 2026 (UTC)
- Yes, I am Mr. Baghdasaryan. I apologize for the confusion caused by my earlier messages. I understand the conflict-of-interest concerns regarding autobiographical editing and will avoid promotional editing going forward. I would also still appreciate consideration for a username change to “RubenBaghdasaryan” so the account complies with username policy. Rubenstudio94 (talk) 23:24, 28 May 2026 (UTC)
- So why did you claim to be Mr. Lurie above? What's going on here? --jpgordon𝄢𝄆𝄐𝄇 02:01, 29 May 2026 (UTC)

- What you have here is a shared account which isn't allowed. -MPGuy2824 (talk) 12:34, 29 May 2026 (UTC)
- It is not shared. I mentioned multiple times that im just working along Ruben, next to me in his article. We do not share this account together. We review together and sometimes we switch the computers ( on the same screen ) to update the article about his works. We do not share any passwords and no other person is getting compensated for this. Rubenstudio94 (talk) 15:14, 29 May 2026 (UTC)
- It really doesn't matter. Between the two of you, the conflict of interest is overwhelming. We don't get to write about ourselves on Wikipedia; we don't get to WP:PROMOTE artists we represent (or show in our galleries). And, yes, what you are doing is sharing this account. --jpgordon𝄢𝄆𝄐𝄇 15:37, 29 May 2026 (UTC)
- There is no conflict of interest, he is accomplished artist and he deserves a page in Wkipedia. There are million other pages on here with zero credibility but somehow it is pushed online. Please also understand that this is his first draft, it is work in progress untill it is fully approved by Wiki. Rubenstudio94 (talk) 15:39, 29 May 2026 (UTC)
- This account stated
I represent artist Ruben Baghdasaryan, as a gallery owner
, and stated that the person controlling the account is Bruce Lurie. This account later statedYes, I am Mr. Baghdasaryan.
This account then statedIt is not shared
after bring informed that shared accounts are not permitted. There is an obvious and glaring and irrefutable conflict of interest with both of these people. Then, the account statesThere is no conflict of interest, he is accomplished artist and he deserves a page in Wkipedia.
Nobody "deserves" a Wikipedia biography. So, we have a series of contradictory and false statements and cannot determine what is true and what is false. If two people sit side by side while logged into Wikipedia and one tells the other what to type, that is a shared account. Trying to deny that an artist and a gallery owner selling that artist's work have no conflict of interest regarding a Wikipedia article about that artist is ludicrous. Cullen328 (talk) 16:24, 29 May 2026 (UTC)- No worries Rubenstudio94 (talk) 16:28, 29 May 2026 (UTC)
- I understand Wikipedia’s concerns regarding conflict of interest and promotional content. My intention is to ensure that any draft complies with Wikipedia’s guidelines and is supported by independent, reliable sources. I appreciate the review and will continue working through the draft process and addressing any issues that are identified.
- I would also appreciate guidance regarding my account status and whether it may be unblocked for future editing. I am happy to follow Wikipedia’s policies and disclosure requirements moving forward and would like to contribute in accordance with community guidelines.
- Thank you for your time and assistance. Rubenstudio94 (talk) 18:42, 29 May 2026 (UTC)
- Your account status is that you are blocked for advertising or promotion, that you are insisting on writing an unallowed autobiography, that you are sharing an account with another person, that you have a total conflict of interest and have expressed no desire to write about anything else. You will not be unblocked to write about yourself or the gallery. --jpgordon𝄢𝄆𝄐𝄇 21:41, 29 May 2026 (UTC)
- I apologize for all the miscommunications. I’ll appreciate if you can unblock it. Please also understand it’s my first time working on the draft Rubenstudio94 (talk) 02:17, 30 May 2026 (UTC)
- (Non-administrator comment) Hi there! Admins are sympathetic toward the fact that you are a new user—and will be slightly less so toward the fact that you are on wikipedia for the sole-purpose of self-promotion and appear to have been using a large language model/AI chatbot for some of your answers above. You've been told multiple times above that you will not be unblocked to write about yoursef: even if you are allowed to in the future, it will probably much easier for you to do so having gained some more experience with other areas on wikipedia first. Are there any topics unrelated to yourself that you'd like to edit about? GoldRomean (talk) 18:26, 31 May 2026 (UTC)
