Hello, I'm Mellk. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Ket people, but you didn't provide a reliable source. On Wikipedia, it's important that article content be verifiable. If you'd like to resubmit your change with a citation, your edit is archived in the page history. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Mellk (talk) 05:48, 19 July 2025 (UTC)
Please do not add or change content, as you did at Siberian Tatars, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources to see how to add references to an article. Thank you. --Altenmann >talk 02:17, 24 July 2025 (UTC)
Recent edit reversion
editIn this edit here, I reverted some information that appears to be a violation of our copyright policy.
I provided a brief summary of the problem in the edit summary, which should be visible just below my name. You can also click on the "view history" tab in the article to see the recent history of the article. This should be an edit with my name, and a parenthetical comment explaining why your edit was reverted. If that information is not sufficient to explain the situation, please ask.
I do occasionally make mistakes. We get hundreds of reports of potential copyright violations every week, and sometimes there are false positives, for a variety of reasons. (Perhaps the material was moved from another Wikipedia article, or the material was properly licensed but the license information was not obvious, or the material is in the public domain but I didn't realize it was public domain, and there can be other situations generating a report to our Copy Patrol tool that turn out not to be actual copyright violations.) If you think my edit was mistaken, please politely let me know and I will investigate. S Philbrick(Talk) 10:57, 24 July 2025 (UTC)

Your edit to Kurdak-Sargat Tatars has been removed in whole or in part, as it appears to have added copyrighted material to Wikipedia without evidence of permission from the copyright holder. If you are the copyright holder, please read Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials for information on how to contribute your work appropriately. For legal reasons, Wikipedia strictly cannot host copyrighted text or images from print media or digital platforms without an appropriate and verifiable license. Contributions infringing on copyright will be removed. I've noticed you keep reverting this paragraph on this article , I've checked the source and there's no mention of the clans that are mentioned. The no original research is an important policy of Wikipedia, please do not revert or change the content without citing verifiable sources. LothofOrkney (talk) 09:27, 7 September 2025 (UTC)
Please do not add external links to the same paper into numerous articles, like you did, e.g., here. This looks like a promotion of Nikolai Tomilov. If there is something useful in this paper, please add information into the corresponding Wikipedia article. --Altenmann >talk 17:58, 7 September 2025 (UTC)
Tobol Tatars moved to draftspace
editThanks for your contributions to Tobol Tatars. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it needs more sources to establish notability. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.
Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit the draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. Onel5969 TT me 15:31, 14 September 2025 (UTC)

Hello, I'm Sumanuil. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to Yeniseian peoples have been undone because they did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Teahouse or the Help desk. The source says she's Evenki, and that's a better picture anyway. Sumanuil. (talk to me) 04:46, 5 October 2025 (UTC)
Hello, I'm M Imtiaz. I noticed that you recently removed content from Khakas without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. M Imtiaz (talk · contribs) 19:13, 14 October 2025 (UTC)
- @M Imtiaz: The removal was correct: whoever added the text did not read the cited sources carefully. I fixed the article. However you are right: removal of a text with referenced must always be explained, because it always looks suspicious. --Altenmann >talk 19:42, 14 October 2025 (UTC)
- @Altenmann Thanks. I looked at the snippet that was quoted from one of the sources and I got the impression that a name used until Soviet times might still be validly listed as an alternative one in the lede, but I'm happy to have been corrected. Hello, I'm Replayful. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to Greenlandic language have been undone because they appeared to be promotional. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Please do not reinsert the YouTube link. - I know that Urums aren't Crimean Tatars. If you would have looked more carefully you would realise that I wasn't the user who reverted you. Narym2025 (talk) 12:39, 7 May 2026 (UTC)
- Please note that your edits to Crimean Tatars on 8 May breached WP:3RR, a bright-line policy. There will be no sanctions as this was several days ago and blocks are preventative, not punitive, but please bear in mind that "this content is incorrect" is not an exception to 3RR in the future. - The Bushranger One ping only 22:26, 13 May 2026 (UTC)

Your recent edits/revisions on Giray Dynasty

Hi Narym2025! I noticed that you've made several edits in order to restore a version of an article. The impulse to repeatedly undo an edit you disagree with is understandable, but I wanted to make sure that you're aware of Wikipedia's edit warring policy. Repeatedly undoing the changes made by other users in a back-and-forth fashion like this is disallowed, even if you feel what you're doing is justifiable.
All editors are expected to discuss content disputes on article talk pages in order to try to reach a consensus with the other editors involved. If you are unable to come to an agreement, please use one of the dispute resolution options that are available in order to seek input from others. Using this approach instead of repeatedly reverting other editors' changes can help you avoid getting drawn into edit wars. Thank you. signed, A Random Hylian (Parry)(swing) 16:05, 23 May 2026 (UTC)

edit
You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war, according to the reverts you've made to Sofia Gubaidulina. This means that you are repeatedly reverting content back to how you think it should be, despite knowing that other editors disagree. Once it is known that there is a disagreement, users are expected to collaborate with others, avoid editing disruptively, and try to reach a consensus – rather than repeatedly reverting the changes made by other users.
Important points to note:
- Edit warring is disruptive behavior – regardless of how many reverts you have made;
- Do not engage in edit warring – even if you believe that you are right.
You need to discuss the disagreement on the article's talk page and work towards a revision that represents consensus among everyone involved. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution if discussions reach an impasse. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you continue to engage in edit warring, you may be blocked from editing. Please explain why you think that we should include two less specific links instead. Plus, it's against MOS:OVERLINK to link "Poland". Thanks, Thedarkknightli (talk) 16:11, 27 May 2026 (UTC)

Please stop your disruptive editing.
- If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor, discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page, and seek consensus with them. Alternatively you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant noticeboards.
- If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.
If you continue to disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at Ket people, you may be blocked from editing. Zackmann (Talk to me/What I been doing) 15:59, 13 June 2026 (UTC)
Hello. Your recent edit appears to have added a non-notable entity to a list that normally includes only notable entries. In general, a person, organization or product added to a list should have a pre-existing article before being added to most lists. If you wish to create such an article, please first confirm that the subject qualifies for a separate, stand-alone article according to Wikipedia's notability guideline. Thank you. --VVikingTalkEdits 14:16, 17 June 2026 (UTC)
