Sure, but redirecting from a user page to an encyclopaedia article is unexpected behaviour, so thank you for removing that. ClaudineChionh (she/her · talk · email · global) 02:26, 21 February 2026 (UTC)Reply

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Christianity and Evolution, links pointing to the disambiguation pages Genesis and Kenneth Miller were added. • here, the first news source does not provide any encyclopedic content about the journal, it is neither a primary source nor a secondary source, and the second one includes only one video. The content and source should meet the notability, independent, reliable source and other criteria. Many "sources" mentioning the name of something can be found and can be gathered easily, it does not mean the they meet the criteria. Vuzorg (talk) 23:06, 1 April 2026 (UTC)Reply
    Sources do not need to be notable @Vuzorg and neither does article content. See WP:NNC Katzrockso (talk) 04:56, 2 April 2026 (UTC)Reply
    Published news are secondary sources (WP:NEWSORG), for the second one, the video interview is at the top of the page, scroll down to see the article. nahleghini (talk) 05:33, 2 April 2026 (UTC)Reply
    They do still lack notability, sorry. The two sources and the app, the bimus article have bdfi, existence ≠ notability, trivial mentions, independent, reliable source, subjective importance, synthesis of published material, promotion, advertising and others issues. On the other hand, the third source, the Bingöl University one, even though it was misspelled when cited, might be considered acceptable. It does provide general information about the Zaza journals. The first news source does not provide any encyclopedic content about the journal, it is about a published book and has nothing to do with the journal, the author shares his book. In the second news source, there is a woman, when you do a little research about her you see that she is an editor of the journal and even she calls herself as keybanuya maz est, "the queen of maz est" (??) and promotes her own work. Also, when you look at the journal, in nine out of ten of their posts, they post "we are Kurds," "Lurs are Kurds," "... are Kurds.", "you can't divide us", "they're going to divide us" etc. Such a "credible", "reliable" and "encyclopedic" journal "dedicated" to produce scientific content. Reliable journals should produce scientific content. Some much larger and more widespread news sources don't even meet the criteria because the content they provide and their credibility is questionable, RSP. As it stands, although the third one meets the criteria to some extent, two news sources should be removed. Vuzorg (talk) 15:23, 2 April 2026 (UTC)Reply
    Something lacking notability does NOT mean it cannot be included. I have no opinion on whether or not this content should be included or the sources in question, but you should be citing relevant policies and guidelines, not just a laundry list gish-gallop of whatever policies and guidelines you have heard of. It makes your point come across much weaker.
    Notability is about whether a topic warrants a standalone article. It does NOT govern content that is included in articles - i.e. whether a sentence, source or topic is included WITHIN an article. Something non-notable can (and should) be included in a broader article. For example, Sword Art Online Abridged is currently at articles for deletion (Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Sword Art Online Abridged), and many editors have proposed merging the content to Sword Art Online. The topic "Sword Art Online Abridged" might not be notable, but it is worth including in the Sword Art Online article (hence why editors have proposed merging as an alternative to deletion).
    @Vuzorg Katzrockso (talk) 06:07, 3 April 2026 (UTC)Reply
    Hi, you pin and mention my username two times here and try to explain your own perspective but if I am not mistaken, I have never talked to you so far. I have not commented on your perspective on the policies too. Neither my first nor my second reply was directed at you, nor were they intended to answer you. I even did not reply to your first message here, you can see. And, also, to "inform" an user, we can find better ways, instead of accusing users of making a "laundry" list of whatever policies they have "heard of". agf, apr. The essays and the policies, etc., are available and accessible to everyone, those interested can read the whole and related ones in detail. The problem was already solved, on the other hand. Thanks for the effort, though. Vuzorg (talk) 14:33, 3 April 2026 (UTC)Reply
  • this article also resembles a synthesis of published material about a little known app (there are many language apps available online) to imply a new conclusion, and promotion and advertising. Vuzorg (talk) 23:06, 1 April 2026 (UTC)Reply

—It's clear it's not following Wikipedia's rules. The English Wikipedia is about to become a cesspool.Look ! at this entry; it completely reflects the political views of the Kurdish nationalist segment. Thousands of entries like this are tainted. The real information, based on broader sources and objective data, is available in other language versions. ~2026-20516-57 (talk) 05:00, 3 April 2026 (UTC)Reply

Can you correct a serious error in the article about the Egyptian president Anwar Sadat ? I’m unable to fix it because the page is protected. Ghiniw (talk) 00:13, 5 May 2026 (UTC)Reply

In the section Early life and revolutionary activities, it says:
“His father, Anwar Mohammed El Sadat, was an Upper Egyptian,”
and this is completely incorrect. The correct information is that his father was from Monufia Governorate.
I am Egyptian and I know this, and you won’t find any Egyptian source that states otherwise every source says he was from Monufia, and his father was from Monufia as well. Ghiniw (talk) 00:18, 5 May 2026 (UTC)Reply
https://gate.ahram.org.eg/News/224239.aspx
This is a source from the official Egyptian newspaper Al-Ahram, which discusses the fathers of Egypt’s presidents and mentions that the father of Anwar Sadat was from Monufia.
Please correct the information in the article, as it is a serious mistake. Ghiniw (talk) 00:21, 5 May 2026 (UTC)Reply
I looked through the currently cited material on the page, and searched elsewhere, as you said I cannot find anything about his father's origins beyond Mit Abu El Kom. Thanks for noticing this, and for the source, I will make the correction. nahle.ghini (talk) 03:33, 5 May 2026 (UTC)Reply
