Your submission at Articles for creation: sandbox (May 4)

Your recent article submission to Articles for Creation has been reviewed! Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reason left by Robert McClenon was:
Two months ago, you asked this question, and I said that it was a good-faith question that could be asked at the Teahouse. Now you have resubmitted it to AFC, which seems to imply that you aren't paying attention.

If you have a question about a draft, ask it at the Teahouse or the Help Desk.

If this sandbox is submitted again, sanctions for tendentious editing may be necessary.

Dennis Harp

edit

I have reviewed the history associated with your draft on Dennis Harp, and it does appear that you aren't paying attention. After the second time that you were declined, you submitted a sandbox page asking why your draft was declined. I told you to ask at the Teahouse. Then you did ask at The Teahouse, and were advised that references should be submitted in-line, as footnotes, rather than all at the end. One helpful editor provided one in-line citation for you to show you how it should be done.

Now it appears that, rather than trying to take the advice that you were given, you added a new section to your draft called Dennis Harp Resubmission, and resubmitted the draft, thus submitting a page that has duplicate information. It was declined again as not having adequate references, but it could have been declined because it is duplicated. You still don't appear to be trying to take advice about footnotes, which are important in Wikipedia. After it was declined, you again submitted a question, rather than a draft, to AFC, asking why your draft wasn't accepted. I had already said that you should ask questions about draft declines at the Teahouse, not via new AFC submissions.

You are much more likely to get your draft accepted if you listen to the advice of experienced editors, including about where to ask questions and how to footnote articles, than by just randomly resubmitting and complaining. Some experienced editors want to help you, but you have to listen. Try listening. Robert McClenon (talk) 02:03, 5 May 2016 (UTC)Reply
