This draft does not include any sources or inline citations. Wikipedia's verifiability policy requires that all content be supported by reliable sources. You should also use inline citations (footnotes) to show which source supports which specific statement.

The draft requires multiple published secondary sources that:

  • provide significant coverage: discuss the subject in detail, not just brief mentions or routine announcements;
  • are reliable: from reputable outlets with editorial oversight;
  • are independent: not connected to the subject, such as press releases, the subject's own website, or sponsored content.

Please add references that meet all three of these criteria. If none exist, the subject is not yet suitable for Wikipedia.

You must place an inline citation directly after:

  • quotations;
  • any material whose verifiability is likely to be challenged or is contentious;
  • any material about living people.

Why wikipedia has problems with the wikipedia page I wrote as-is.

edit

Just want to know what the problems are with my wikipedia page.

I ran for mayor and was qualified in Jackson MS for mayor. How is that not notable??

I used reliable authoritative local-news media sources!

I used an obituary independently published in the New York Times!

My grandfather was at one point the CEO of the Associated Press! The New York Times Obituary notes that!

What other sources am I supposed to use other than books, websites, and news articles and news sources??

Give me a break people! JohnRunningALTERNATIVEREFORM (talk) 22:08, 4 June 2026 (UTC)Reply

Please cut down to NPOV material supported by reliable sources. Content like "did not ever vote for Donald Trump" or "is not a communist" also adds little unless it has been the subject of discussion.
