Hi Jiar Noakbalk! I noticed that you recently marked an edit as minor at Pixel art that may not have been. "Minor edit" has a specific definition on Wikipedia—it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typo corrections or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not a minor edit, even if it only concerns a single word. Thank you. QuietCicada chirp 00:35, 17 October 2024 (UTC)
- Thank you for informing me, I will be more careful going foreward. Jiar Noakbalk (talk) 18:08, 17 October 2024 (UTC)
Please do not add or change content, as you did at Summon Night: Swordcraft Story, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Waxworker (talk) 02:20, 19 October 2024 (UTC)
Hello, I'm Qwerfjkl (bot). I have automatically detected that this edit performed by you, on the page HUION, may have introduced referencing errors. They are as follows:
- A bare URL error. References show this error when one of the URL-containing parameters cannot be paired with an associated title. Please edit the article to add the appropriate title parameter to the reference. (Fix | Ask for help)
Please check this page and fix the errors highlighted. If you think this is a false positive, you can report it to my operator. Thanks, Qwerfjkl (bot) (talk) 22:04, 18 October 2024 (UTC)

Mirrors
edit
Thanks for contributing to the article French submarine Le Verrier. However, one of Wikipedia's core policies is that material must be verifiable and attributed to reliable sources. You have recently used citations which copied, or mirrored, material from Wikipedia. This leads to a circular reference and is not acceptable. Most mirrors are clearly labeled as such, but some are in violation of our license and do not provide the correct attribution. Please help by adding alternate sources to the article you edited! If you need any help or clarification, you can look at Help:Contents/Editing Wikipedia or ask at Wikipedia:New contributors' help page, or just ask me. Thank you. - Same problem at Brežani (Kakanj), and previously at Akhtar Karnana Halt railway station and Putaendo River. Please slow down and carefully evaluate the sources you are using. Sam Kuru (talk) 11:25, 25 October 2024 (UTC)
- Okay, I will make sure to use more credible sources as citations Jiar Noakbalk (talk) 21:59, 25 October 2024 (UTC)
- Again at Puka Parish. I'm not sure how else to explain this. If the source mentions Wikipedia in any way, it's likely to be a mirror or a site that scrapes material from here. Please stop. Sam Kuru (talk) 20:08, 30 October 2024 (UTC)
- Sorry about that. I did search up Puka Parish in google and the other sources were unsatisfactory. I failed to notice this detail about the source and thank you for bringing this to me. Jiar Noakbalk (talk) 15:23, 31 October 2024 (UTC)

Again at Mohamed Wildhan using 'infogalactic' which clearly notes "This article's content derived from Wikipedia, the Free Encyclopedia" and at Chaméane using 'routeyou' which notes "Source: Wikipedia.org" literally right next to the text you're using. Both of these are absolutely clearly-identified mirrors. Can you please explain how you're finding and evaluating the sources you're using? I fear this has become disruptive. - My bad, at first I worked on articles that I had vested interest in such as games, culture etc. I switched to primarily articles related to locations as I believe many of them need updates, though I do switch up time to time otherwise it would become boring. I mainly make a list of all the articles that I plan to edit for the day through 'random article' and then sit down and search for any sources related to the article. For locations I would search for any local community site or an official government website of the place, articles of places that are not in the anglo sphere I would machine translate the native version of the article(usually these are written very subjectively) or try to find a website in the native language and then machine translate it. Now most website do use wikipedia as a source and others are usually personal blogs that are themselves unsuitable for citation, it is difficult and time consuming to find a source that is authentic enough and sometimes I find myself scrolling pages and pages to find one. I build up fatigue and may let these details slip, I will slow down and be more careful with sourcing. Jiar Noakbalk (talk) 19:33, 3 November 2024 (UTC)

Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, please note that there is a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Deviating from this style, as you did in Popa langur, disturbs uniformity among articles and may cause readability or accessibility problems. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Please do not bold every instance of the article title. Only the first instance needs to be bolded. Also, please don't link every instance of a term. UtherSRG (talk) 12:40, 17 January 2025 (UTC)
- I apologize, and will be more mindful in the future. Jiar Noakbalk (talk) 02:24, 21 January 2025 (UTC)

editHi Jiar Noakbalk. Thank you for your work on Tellas (artist). Another editor, Klbrain, has reviewed it as part of new pages patrol and left the following comment:
Thanks for creating this page for Tellas, an artist discussed in a variety of sources. It's now worth linking the page from from other pages, and adding some more specific categories to allow better indexing.
To reply, leave a comment here and begin it with {{Re|Klbrain}}. (Message delivered via the Page Curation tool, on behalf of the reviewer.)

Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. Regarding your recent edits to Ulugbekhon Maksumov when you modified the page, you introduced unknown parameters. Just because you specify |some_param=some_variable does not always mean that variable will display. The |some_param= must be defined in the template. You can look at the documentation for the template you are using but it is also helpful to use the preview button before you save your edit; this helps you find any errors you have made and ensure that the values you have added are displaying correctly. Below the edit box is a Show preview button. Pressing this will show you what the page will look like without actually saving it. It is strongly recommended that you use this before saving. If you have any questions, contact the help desk for assistance.

Disambiguation link notification for November 21
editHi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Josef von Smola (1805–1856), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Josef von Smola. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
