Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that you've added some links pointing to disambiguation pages. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ  Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

To @Bagumba: I've received a notification with someone mentioning my username. If I have caused any trouble, I certainly didn't mean to and I apologize. I've edited NBA teams season pages on Wikipedia before by adding extra information, and facts from other websites. I also used to add links to several websites. I have been blocked a few times, the rules on this site are very confusing. I asked for a request to create a account, I've never been signed into Wikipedia before, I had always edited without signing up. When I edit NBA teams season pages, I add information about player trades, free agent signings, schedule results, player stats, etc. There are some NBA team season pages that don't have much information at all. I also change team roster colors to match their logos, uniforms and court designs from their respective seasons. If you think I'm editing too much in one day, I'll slow down. Like I said, I do NOT mean to break any rules. If you're thinking about blocking me, please send me a warning first, I'd really appreciate it.

To @65.30.134.209: Thank you for adding the players birthdates to the Milwaukee Bucks rosters. I have erased the players Nationality flags from the rosters on the 1996-97 Milwaukee Bucks season, and 1997-98 Milwaukee Bucks season pages just in case you would like to add the birthdates to the rosters.

1998-99 NBA teams' season articles

edit

Hi there! I noticed that you added the same information about the 1998-99 NBA lockout to each team's individual season article, without reference to the team specifically. I'm planning to edit each team's article to link to the lockout article, without league-wide news citations, unless there are sources specifically talking about the lockout in the context of the team's season. Thanks for your contributions. White 720 (talk) 15:41, 14 March 2025 (UTC)Reply

The articles about the lockout to the references that I added don't have to mention all of the NBA teams, so there was no need to remove all of the information, and references that I published.
The lockout had affected all of the 29 teams in the NBA back then. Johnny4444 (talk) 01:49, 16 June 2025 (UTC)Reply

There were already references to Basketball-Reference showing the 2001-02 New Jersey Nets statistics. I removed the other stat references, and added a citation to Basketball-Reference.
Plus, you removed all of those other references that were already on the page. Johnny4444 (talk) 14:49, 27 June 2025 (UTC)Reply
You have been told multiple times to read WP:OVERCITE. Adding 3–5 sources to a simple statement is disruptive. In addition, some sources are exactly the same (word-for-word). I advise you to stop it, because you could easily get blocked for that. – sbaio 15:41, 27 June 2025 (UTC)Reply
I have reverted your changes to 2001–02 New Jersey Nets season, because you once again ignored WP:OVERCITE. If you are going to ignore it and do as you want then there will be no other option but to report you for disruption. – sbaio 05:20, 16 October 2025 (UTC)Reply

Rush Hour (band) moved to draftspace

edit

Thanks for your contributions to Rush Hour (band). Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing as a live article at this time because it needs more sources to establish notability. I have converted it to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.

Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit the draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. lp0 on fire () 18:34, 12 January 2026 (UTC)Reply

There wasn't much information, or articles that I could find about the band on the Internet (mainly Google). There are no obituaries for the group's drummer, and band leader besides an archived newspaper. Johnny4444 (talk) 18:47, 12 January 2026 (UTC)Reply
In that case, I'm afraid the band probably isn't notable lp0 on fire () 18:50, 12 January 2026 (UTC)Reply
Can you maybe suggest that I remove some information, and unreliable references/sources for the Wikipedia page to be accepted? Johnny4444 (talk) 20:09, 12 January 2026 (UTC)Reply
Hi, I don't think that would be enough. You're right that lots of the sources aren't reliable, but if you remove them then you're still left with no indication of notability. If you find some critical reviews, you can add them and submit for review. lp0 on fire () 20:37, 12 January 2026 (UTC)Reply
I made some changes to the "Rush Hour (band)" draft page, added some references to AllMusic and Google Books, and submitted the page to be reviewed. Can you see if the sources are reliable, because it was all I could find? Johnny4444 (talk) 19:12, 13 January 2026 (UTC)Reply
Hello! I'm afraid that doesn't look like enough. The book looks like an obituary, which usually won't contain the kind of critical analysis required. The AllMusic reference is a bare listing. If it had a review that would be very helpful, but, according to WP:ALLMUSIC, listings without accompanying prose do not count towards notability. lp0 on fire () 19:17, 13 January 2026 (UTC)Reply
I added more references to Google Books with snippet previews about the band. It was all I could find.
Could you maybe suggest which information, and sources should be removed for the Wikipedia page to be accepted, please? I would really appreciate it. Thanks. Johnny4444 (talk) 21:11, 14 January 2026 (UTC)Reply
If that's all you can find, it's probably best to move on. Maybe they just shouldn't have an article. lp0 on fire () 14:34, 16 January 2026 (UTC)Reply

Your submission at Articles for creation: Rush Hour (band) (January 13)

edit
Your recent article submission to Articles for Creation has been reviewed. Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reason left by Lp0 on fire was:
This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject (see the guidelines on the notability of music-related topics). Before any resubmission, additional references meeting these criteria should be added (see technical help and learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue). If no additional references exist, the subject is not suitable for Wikipedia.
Please check the submission for any additional comments left by the reviewer. You are encouraged to edit the submission to address the issues raised and resubmit it after they have been resolved.

Your submission at Articles for creation: Rush Hour (band) (January 14)

edit
Your recent article submission to Articles for Creation has been reviewed. Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reason left by Rambley was:
Too much of a reliance on unreliable sources; Discogs, YouTube and Facebook are all considered WP:UGC and I would not call them reliable or published in-depth sources. I would not call eBay listings (citation 14) reliable, either.
Please check the submission for any additional comments left by the reviewer. You are encouraged to edit the submission to address the issues raised and resubmit it after they have been resolved.
Rambley (talk / contribs) 21:12, 14 January 2026 (UTC)Reply
Would it help if I removed references from YouTube and Facebook? I posted references to Discogs, because it mentions the band members names, and albums personnel. I also added a reference to eBay, because it features a picture of the back cover of the LP album, which shows the band members. I couldn't find any pictures of the group. Johnny4444 (talk) 21:31, 14 January 2026 (UTC)Reply
Hi, as stated, Discogs is not considered a reliable source and you shouldn't cite it in articles. If you can provide reliable, secondary sources to back up the claims in place of Discogs, eBay, etc, then this is preferable. Rambley (talk / contribs) 22:00, 14 January 2026 (UTC)Reply
I removed the Discogs references, and kept the more reliable sources. It was the best I could do. Johnny4444 (talk) 18:15, 15 January 2026 (UTC)Reply
