Tips
  • Don't be afraid to edit! Just find something that can be improved and make it better. Other editors will help fix any mistakes you make.
  • It's normal to feel a little overwhelmed, but don't worry if you don't understand everything at first—it's fine to edit using common sense.
  • If an edit you make is reverted, you can discuss the issue at the article's talk page. Be civil, and don't restore the edit unless there is consensus.
  • Always use edit summaries to explain your changes.
  • When adding new content to an article, always include a citation to a reliable source.
  • If you wish to edit about a subject with which you are affiliated, read our conflict of interest guide and disclose your connection.
  • Have fun! Your presence in the Wikipedia community is welcome.

CS1 error on José de León Toral

edit

Hello, I'm Qwerfjkl (bot). I have automatically detected that this edit performed by you, on the page José de León Toral, may have introduced referencing errors. They are as follows:

  • A "bare URL and missing title" error. References show this error when they do not have a title. Please edit the article to add the appropriate title parameter to the reference. (Fix | Ask for help)

Please check this page and fix the errors highlighted. If you think this is a false positive, you can report it to my operator. Thanks, Qwerfjkl (bot) (talk) 02:06, 15 July 2023 (UTC)Reply

Pre-Columbian era

edit

I have reverted your addition of an excessive number of citations to Pre-Columbian era. One quality reliable source that supports the content of a sentence or paragraph is sufficient. Adding citations that do not support anything that is not already supported by existing citations clutters the article, and may be considered book spam. If you still feel that any of those sources need to be cited in the article, please present your reasons at Talk:Pre-Columbian era. - Donald Albury 15:17, 19 November 2024 (UTC)Reply

Your submission at Articles for creation: Raya Yarbrough (August 12)

edit
Your recent article submission to Articles for Creation has been reviewed. Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reason left by Fancy Refrigerator was:
This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject (see the guidelines on the notability of music-related topics). Before any resubmission, additional references meeting these criteria should be added (see technical help and learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue). If no additional references exist, the subject is not suitable for Wikipedia.
Please check the submission for any additional comments left by the reviewer. You are encouraged to edit the submission to address the issues raised and resubmit after they have been resolved.

Andrew Garfield

edit

I've reverted your edit to Andrew Garfield as the source you provided made no unambiguous claims that Garfield is dating anyone; it appeared largely speculative, and we don't publish gossip. Please read your sources more carefully before adding statements to Wikipedia that aren't actually supported by the sources you're using. DonIago (talk) 20:15, 15 September 2025 (UTC)Reply

ArbCom 2025 Elections voter message

edit

Hello! Voting in the 2025 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 1 December 2025. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2025 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:58, 18 November 2025 (UTC)Reply

José Joaquín Pérez Budar moved to draftspace

edit

Thanks for your contributions to José Joaquín Pérez Budar. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing as a live article at this time because it needs more sources to establish notability and require WP:RS, WP:IS. Please refer to WP:REFB for instructions on formatting references correctly.. I have converted it to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.

Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit the draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. QEnigma 08:28, 11 March 2026 (UTC)Reply
