Quick draftification
editHello there, and thank you for your help with NPP! I wanted to reach out because I noticed your recent draftication of The Office of Health Economics (OHE), which occurred 32 minutes after the article was created. Per NPPHOUR, articles shouldn't be draftified if they are actively being edited. In practice, this means articles shouldn't be draftified if they have been meaningfully edited in the past hour.
I understand and sympathize with wanting unsourced articles out of main space, but we also need to recognize that it can come across as bitey to draftify an article too quickly -- especially considering that articles in mainspace do not need to be complete, and editors are allowed to develop articles in the mainspace.
I hope this makes sense. Thank you again for all your help with NPP. It's definitely appreciated! Take care, Significa liberdade (she/her) (talk) 18:35, 2 January 2026 (UTC)
- Thanks for the polite reminder! I'll make sure to wait an hour before starting an AfD or draftifying :) harrz talk 21:11, 2 January 2026 (UTC)

Mahón page
editHello, I was trying to rename the article "Mahón" to "Maó" which is the official name, and the article named "Maó" already existed as a redirect to the Mahón page. Are you able to change the redirect so that the article about the Balearic city is "Maó" and the redirect to it is the page "Mahón"? Tried to do that, but struggled to find the way to and instead moved that page to "Mahón redirect" which evidently was a temporal thing. Thank you Ristando (talk) 22:37, 6 January 2026 (UTC)
- Since there's already a redirect with that name you'll have to request a move, see WP:RM. harrz talk 20:11, 7 January 2026 (UTC)

January–February 2026 NPP drive - Phase 2
edit
Welcome to Phase 2 of the January–February 2026 NPP drive. During Phase 1, we reviewed 16,658 articles and 4,416 redirects, and there is currently a backlog of 16,475 articles and 23,782 redirects in the queue. Fantastic job! Completing 22,502 patrols in the first phase made a significant dent in the backlog. Let's keep our foot on the gas for Phase 2, and I hope we can achieve even more reviews than Phase 1. Best of luck!

No need to stub my railway station articles
editEven though some of them are short, they are complete. I make sure to already check the already existing Polish or German article, Atlas Kolejowy, Ogólnopolska Baza Kolejowa and polska-org.pl. If there is nothing on there (other than the name changes), then I simply don't add anything. Not all stations have history. Thank you for reviewing my articles though! Speedy deletion declined: List of lake freighters (selected ships)
editHello Harrz, and thanks for patrolling new pages! I am just letting you know that I declined the speedy deletion of List of lake freighters (selected ships), a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: Contains sufficient content to be a stub. You may wish to review the Criteria for Speedy Deletion before tagging further pages. Thank you. CoconutOctopus talk 13:58, 7 February 2026 (UTC)

editHi
A certain user is commenting on deletion discussion page on every delete vote on the subject page. I am not sure if this is appropriate. Whats your thought on this? A seperate discussion section would be more proper i guess. Hingolddiki (talk) 09:16, 12 February 2026 (UTC)
- Please don’t waste your time trying to stop me from replying to delete comments. There is no point in that. You have already cast your vote.. that is enough. The rest should be left to the administrators. They will review the discussion and make the decision accordingly. ButterflyCat (talk) 09:59, 12 February 2026 (UTC)

Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. Regarding your recent edits to Stanmer House when you modified the page, you introduced unknown parameters. Just because you specify |some_param=some_variable does not always mean that variable will display. The |some_param= must be defined in the template. You can look at the documentation for the template you are using but it is also helpful to use the preview button before you save your edit; this helps you find any errors you have made and ensure that the values you have added are displaying correctly. Below the edit box is a Show preview button. Pressing this will show you what the page will look like without actually saving it. It is strongly recommended that you use this before saving. Note I have likely fixed the error by now so check the history of the page to see how it was fixed. If you have any questions, contact the help desk for assistance.

Merge article
editHi there, I feel like a merge discussion is unnecessary since it's very blatant - but your new article May 2026 United Kingdom heatwave is a duplicate of 2026 United Kingdom heatwaves. Would you please consider merging relevant information from yours to the latter? The page can then become a redirect. Thanks. jolielover♥talk 16:10, 26 May 2026 (UTC)
- Hi, yeah I just noticed this. I was about to redirect that page to the new one as that title is currently incorrect with only one heatwave which makes problems with WP:CRYSTAL; if there are more heatwaves later in the year then the May page will be moved to that one. harrz talk 16:13, 26 May 2026 (UTC)
- I knew someone would pull me up on that! Slightly annoying as it's an article I made but under the letter of the law, it's a correct merge. GarethBaloney (talk) 17:27, 26 May 2026 (UTC)

A tag has been placed on Category:Redirects from Ossetian-language terms indicating that it is currently empty, and is not a disambiguation category, a category redirect, under discussion at Categories for discussion, or a project category that by its nature may become empty on occasion. If it remains empty for seven days or more, it may be deleted under section C1 of the criteria for speedy deletion.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and removing the speedy deletion tag. Liz Read! Talk! 18:16, 29 May 2026 (UTC)
