Your submission at Articles for creation: sandbox (July 21)

edit
Your recent article submission to Articles for Creation has been reviewed. Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reason left by Theroadislong was:
This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject (see the guidelines on the notability of people). Before any resubmission, additional references meeting these criteria should be added (see technical help and learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue). If no additional references exist, the subject is not suitable for Wikipedia.
Please check the submission for any additional comments left by the reviewer. You are encouraged to edit the submission to address the issues raised and resubmit after they have been resolved.

I've left a comment on your Articles for Creation submission, which can be viewed at User:Golf-ulk/sandbox. Thanks! Theroadislong (talk) 10:56, 21 July 2023 (UTC)Reply
I understand that Wikipedia must be very critical with an article about the authors coauthor. But I try to convince critics with additional facts. For example, inequalties are very important in Mathematics. If the prophet inequality is among the 230 most important inequalities, this cannot be ignored.
In the mean time, I got advice on marking references and on other technical topics. I add the numbers in brackets later. Golf-ulk (talk) 15:42, 24 July 2023 (UTC)Reply

The comment the reviewer left was:
Please pay attention to referencing, with inline citations preferable. The first reference goes to the front page of a genealogy website (the link is probably just malformed), but these kind of sites are usually not helpful in establishing notability. Neither are Wikipedia links (see WP:CIRCULAR

Information icon Hello, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. I noticed that you recently added commentary to an article, Draft:Louis Sucheston. While Wikipedia welcomes editors' opinions on an article and how it could be changed, these comments are more appropriate for the article's accompanying talk page. If you post your comments there, other editors working on the same article will notice and respond to them, and your comments will not disrupt the flow of the article. However, keep in mind that even on the talk page of an article, you should limit your discussion to improving the article. Article talk pages are not the place to discuss opinions of the subject of articles, nor are such pages a forum. Thank you. Taking Out The Trash (talk) 16:47, 6 September 2023 (UTC)Reply

Your recent article submission to Articles for Creation has been reviewed. Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reason left by Qcne was:
The content of this submission includes material that does not meet Wikipedia's minimum standard for inline citations. Please cite your sources using footnotes. For instructions on how to do this, please see Referencing for beginners. Thank you.
The comment the reviewer left was:
Hi Editor: you haven't quite gotten the hang of in-line citations and referencing yet.

Please follow the tutorial here: WP:INTREFVE.

However I must echo the previous reviewer: Wikipedia cannot be used as a reference, please remove those two. The geneology reference also does not work for establishing notability. We need to see significant coverage of this person in independent, reliable sources. Read WP:BLPRS for more info.
Please check the submission for any additional comments left by the reviewer. You are encouraged to edit the submission to address the issues raised and resubmit after they have been resolved.
