Information icon Hello, I'm Joyous!. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Orthohantavirus, but you didn't provide a reliable source. On Wikipedia, it's important that article content be verifiable. If you'd like to resubmit your change with a citation, your edit is archived in the page history. If you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Joyous! Noise! 19:12, 12 May 2026 (UTC)Reply

The part about the virus being named after the river is already in the article, further up in the section you were editing. The part about the similar Israeli word needs a reputable source. Joyous! Noise! 19:18, 12 May 2026 (UTC)Reply
So, if I were to add the source for the Isreli meaning, it would be valid? Geometrydashking (talk) 19:21, 12 May 2026 (UTC)Reply
Not really. You need to find a source that states pretty clearly that the Israeli word actually relates to this specific topic. The fact that there is an Israeli word that has the same spelling doesn't mean it has anything to do with the actual etymology of "hantavirus." Joyous! Noise! 19:31, 12 May 2026 (UTC)Reply
