Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, please note that there is a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Deviating from this style, as you did in Madhavrao I, disturbs uniformity among articles and may cause readability or accessibility problems. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. See MOS:OVERLINK. CodeTalker (talk) 19:53, 30 June 2025 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Michael Joubert (businessman)

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Michael Joubert (businessman) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person, a group of people, an individual animal, an organization (band, club, company, etc.), web content, or an organized event that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Speedy deletion declined: Michael Joubert (businessman)

edit

Hello Editor Mery. I am just letting you know that I declined the speedy deletion of Michael Joubert (businessman), a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: Article survived an AFD. Thank you. Whpq (talk) 03:57, 2 July 2025 (UTC)Reply

Michael Joubert (businessman)

If you think the article Michael Joubert (businessman) should be deleted, you need to nominate it through Articles for Deletion. -- Whpq (talk) 22:45, 5 July 2025 (UTC)Reply

May I know why you declined it and now saying to nominate to articles for deletion if.
Kindly go through the references, links etc of the article. You can identify the errors. And also it's an unpopular character. Editor Mery (talk) 08:40, 6 July 2025 (UTC)Reply
You nominated it for speedy deletion which applies only in very specific circumstances. It did not meet the criteria for speedy deletion so you must use the regular deletion process if you think it needs deletion. -- Whpq (talk) 15:37, 6 July 2025 (UTC)Reply
Thanks for making more clarifications on your message. Editor Mery (talk) 08:23, 8 July 2025 (UTC)Reply
Note that nominating an article for deletion via AfD is a multi-step process, of which tagging the article is merely step one. Please see WP:AFDHOWTO and complete the further steps there. Otherwise, the tag will need to be reverted for procedural reasons. Thanks. --Finngall talk 16:47, 8 July 2025 (UTC)Reply
It looks like the AFD nomination needs some attention: the notification appears twice and there is an invalid discussion link. LizardJr8 (talk) 02:23, 9 July 2025 (UTC)Reply
I've reverted the whole badly-formatted mess. --Finngall talk 18:28, 9 July 2025 (UTC)Reply
Many thanks! I wasn't sure how to go about it. LizardJr8 (talk) 19:14, 9 July 2025 (UTC)Reply

Aashirvad Cinemas

edit

Hi, Editor Mery! I'm so glad you've chosen to be an editor here. I noticed that on the article Aashirvad Cinemas, you included the "Good Article" tag among your edits. That isn't something that can just be added by a single editor. There's a process to go through first. You can read more about it here. Joyous! Noise! 19:23, 9 July 2025 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for mentoring. Editor Mery (talk) 02:19, 10 July 2025 (UTC)Reply

Stacy Pavlyshyna

edit

Hi again. The template you added to the top of that article wasn't formatted correctly, so I removed it. It's not quite clear what you're wanting people to check over in this article. Are there specific facts that you think are incorrect? Are you concerned that Pavlyshyna isn't notable enough for an article? I think you should leave a message on the article's talk page with a little more detail about your concern. Joyous! Noise! 19:33, 9 July 2025 (UTC)Reply
