Requesting your support

Hi CodeTalker,

I need your help regarding the University of Cologne's entry: it contains several tags, including a COI tag. I’m wondering what can be done now to remove them? Unfortunately, it isn’t specified exactly where the source references are missing. The English entry is identical to the German one, which is not tagged. And as I do not dare to make any further changes, the COI notice may no longer be necessary. Could you give me some guidance on what to do in such a case?

Thank you for your help.

Kind regards

@CodeTalker, I am sorry for disturbing uniformity among articles, but I unfortunately didn't realize I would cause problems on Wikipedia. This is an apology letter for all of this chaos, this is ThesisFun replying. I will try not to cause chaos again, also, am I the reason why all of the Toy Story movies' Wikipedia pages are locked? I'm that person you messaged in March. ThesisFun (talk) 11:57, 3 May 2026 (UTC)Reply

WP:ELBODY issue

edit

You're right that having an external link in the body of Klingon Language violates that policy, but I personally feel like this is an exception because it is very much necessary to illustrate the history of the wiki. Without that, I feel like there's a severe easter egg issue because, upon clicking the link, one would expect to be taken to a Wikipedia article, so being taken to a metawiki page is very jarring to me. We could also put it in the EL section but I think it's necessary to illustrate the history. Thoughts? (this is referring to this revert on Klingon Language for context)) 𝓕𝓵𝓸𝓫𝓵𝓲𝓷 (Talk to me! · My contribs) 18:34, 6 May 2026 (UTC)Reply

@FloblinTheGoblin I think the best solution is to change the link to a reference. See what you think of my latest edit on Klingon Language. CodeTalker (talk) 18:52, 6 May 2026 (UTC)Reply
Yeah, I think that works to fix the issue. Thank you! 𝓕𝓵𝓸𝓫𝓵𝓲𝓷 (Talk to me! · My contribs) 18:56, 6 May 2026 (UTC)Reply

The Great Upgrade

edit

Mainframe Studios did not show The Great Upgrade from The Start on The 1st Place, it's because that Mainframe Studios knows that Beast Wars has nothing to do with Transformers and The Maximals have nothing to do with The Autobots and The Predacons have nothing to do with The Decepticons, it's because that Mainframe Studios knows that The Maximals are not the descendants of the Autobots and The Predacons are not the descendants of The Decepticons, it's because that Mainframe Studios knows that living inanimate objects can't upgrade living inanimate objects into something living inanimate objects are not, it's because that that isn't how ancestry works for living inanimate objects. ~2026-31259-45 (talk) 23:34, 24 May 2026 (UTC)Reply

Notice of Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents discussion

edit

Information icon There is currently a discussion at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents regarding an issue with which you may have been involved. The thread is Edit reversion, no consent. In solidarity, Blue-Sonnet (I'm listening) 08:57, 4 June 2026 (UTC)Reply

BTW This is an educated guess as the report isn't clear at all... I thought I'd better let you know since you're the first person to revert them. In solidarity, Blue-Sonnet (I'm listening) 08:58, 4 June 2026 (UTC)Reply
@Blue-Sonnet thanks for the heads up. I actually wasn't the first person to revert them chronologically; I may have been the person who reverted their earliest edit, but I actually made that revert after seeing their ANI post and reviewing some of their edits in response. Some of their later edits were already reverted at that time, including some reversions by ClueBot. But thanks for letting me know. CodeTalker (talk) 15:39, 4 June 2026 (UTC)Reply
No problem - in retrospect, they were probably talking about ClueBot all along! In solidarity, Blue-Sonnet (I'm listening) 16:38, 4 June 2026 (UTC)Reply
