To get some practice editing you can use a sandbox. You can create your own personal sandbox for use any time. It's perfect for working on bigger projects. Then for easy access in the future, you can put {{My sandbox}} on your user page. By the way, seeing as you haven't created a user page yet, simply click here to start it.

Please remember to:

  • Always sign your posts on talk pages. You can do this either by clicking on the button on the edit toolbar or by typing four tildes ~~~~ at the end of your post. This will automatically insert your signature, a link to your talk page, and a timestamp.
  • Leave descriptive edit summaries for your edits. Doing so helps other editors understand what changes you have made and why you made them.
The best way to learn about something is to experience it. Explore, learn, contribute, and don't forget to have some fun!

Information icon Hello, I'm Synoman Barris. I wanted to let you know that I reverted one of your recent contributions —specifically this edit to User talk:Wehwalt—because it did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Help desk. Thanks. Megan Barris (Lets talk📧) 20:50, 28 August 2020 (UTC)Reply

@Megan Barris: It was a message to someone else... And who are you to judge if it is constructive or not ? It isn't on the encyclopedia part, it's on the Wikipedia part. -- Calvinsky (talk) 20:52, 28 August 2020 (UTC)Reply
I've responded to it there but why are you asking about Irwin? Do you have an interest in working on it?--Wehwalt (talk) 21:39, 28 August 2020 (UTC)Reply
@Wehwalt: No, it's just you had indicated you were going to work on it on Adopt an astronaut. Good evening. -- Calvinsky (talk) 22:41, 28 August 2020 (UTC)Reply
I expect to do it eventually. I did Scott about two years ago and just finished with Worden. But if someone else wants to do it I won't stand in their way. Good evening to you.--Wehwalt (talk) 23:00, 28 August 2020 (UTC)Reply
@Wehwalt: No, you're not standing in anyone's way. It was just to know about your plans. And thanks for Worden and your incredible work ! -- Calvinsky (talk) 06:39, 29 August 2020 (UTC)Reply

Draft declined
Thank you for contributing to Wikipedia. Your draft submission to Articles for creation has been reviewed but not accepted at this time.
Feedback
The reviewer, KeyolTranslater, left the following feedback:
This draft is not adequately supported by reliable sources. Wikipedia's verifiability policy requires that all content be supported by reliable sources.
  • Reliable sources include: reputable newspapers, magazines, academic journals, and books from respected publishers.
  • Unacceptable sources include: personal blogs, social media, predatory publishers, most tabloids, and websites where anyone can contribute.
Replace any unreliable sources with high-quality sources. If you cannot find a reliable source for the material, it should be removed.
This draft's references do not show that the subject meets Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion. The draft requires multiple published secondary sources that:
  • provide significant coverage: discuss the subject in detail, not just brief mentions or routine announcements;
  • are reliable: from reputable outlets with editorial oversight;
  • are independent: not connected to the subject, such as interviews, press releases, the subject's own website, or sponsored content.
Please add references that meet all three of these criteria. If none exist, the subject is not yet suitable for Wikipedia.
Could this information not be added to the Iraq War article, at present the sources only discuss it in the context of the Iran war, and not any others, so if this is to be a standalone article, more sources and examples are needed

Next steps

  • Edit Draft:Iraq War precedent to address the points above, making sure to publish any changes.
  • When you are ready to resubmit your draft for review, click the Resubmit button.
  • If you do not edit your draft in the next 6 months, it may be deleted.
